It’s shit but not the worst of that genre. Now 6ix9ine and Yatchy, now that’s the absolute worst. I’d rather go deaf. Nah I gotta disagree with you on 6ix9ine's music. His delivery is on point. He sounds like a mix of Onyx and DMX. Out of most of the new class he's got some of the most talent. Not only does he sound different from most of his class but he's got a unique look (clown-like with goes with his trolling antics) and the way he says things makes it sounds realistic, he's got that delivery on point. He just stands out. Yeah his lyrics aren't there but he's got more of the style of a "traditional rapper" than most of the new class. Even his lyrics fit in that style.

You just put DMX and a soundcloud hack in the same sentence. I’m gonna put my head through the wall I’ll be right back.

People have compared his style of delivery to DMX and even more than that 6ix9ine said he was influenced by DMX so you can see the similarities between their delivery. It's less about lyrics which the same applies to most of this new type of hip-hop. The reason it's popular is less about the lyrics and more about everything else.

Easily chantable hook, medium to slow bpm beat with heavy 808s and snares, catchy flow on the verses. Hard for that song NOT to be a hit in today’s climate.

...hard to shit on stuff I'm very definitely not the target audience for. Go to the WWE thread and you'll see that's not true. LOL!

Says nothing to me about my life.
I think saying you can't understand the words is a lame excuse since I listen to predominately Metal and it's hard to understand words said in Metal especially Death Metal.
I just enjoy listening to heavy music rather than trap or mumble rap or whatever. Sounds better to me.

I’m certain everyone has something in their playlist that could be considered a “guilty pleasure”.
There’s nothing wrong with asking someone “what do you find appealing about ___”, but I’ve run into a LOT of “music snobs” in the past who would turn their nose up if I mentioned rocking something that wasn’t exactly a critical darling, so I’ve never been comfortable with the question.
I don’t know what percentage of what I like is “trash”, but I’ve learned to stop caring about it. I just listen to whatever sounds cool to me.

Gucci Gang is a horrible song but damn if it isn't catchy either. Like I'd never voluntarily listen to it, but the hook bores into your brain. I already forgot what it sounded like

I don’t get it either. But rap is big enough for both Danny Brown and Lil Xan.

It's not my thing at all but I get annoyed when some mouth breather still asks me to justify liking extreme metal and I'm sure it's the same for Li'l Pump.

I liked the part where he did not park in an actual parking space on purpose.
He most certainly is too sleepy to pick up his car from the impound lot, do you think his parents will get it for him?

I don’t get it either. But rap is big enough for both Danny Brown and Lil Xan. Exactly. I love lyrical MCs and I love artists with killer flows.

I shouldn’t have to justify why I enjoy the music I do. I like what I like. That’s it. Let other people listen to what they feel like. Yeah, but at the same time, I think people shouldn't get their hackles up too much when other people don't get it. That's just how it's going to be, with pretty much anything.

I've never really cared about the technical difficulty any particular track takes to perform (regardless of genre). I think the internet has caused people to get way too hung up on that sometimes because there's a pressure to appear like an expert, or else a Twitter Mob (or other internet population) is going to rain down shitting all over a head.
