I was having nachoes for dinner last night when I started thinking about a common problem I have. Sometimes I find myself with excess chips, while other times I have extra cheese, salsa, etc. It's certainly easier to eat chips as they are, but it's nice to have the toppings to go with them. The toppings alone, on the other hand, get messy and require a spoon or maybe crackers or something.
Luckily, last night I had a balanced amount of each and a problem was averted. But I'm not always that lucky.
So which is better? More chips or toppings?

I suppose the topping. Those chips aren't good without something to dip them in.

The only topping I need for natchoes is the cheese crud. Peppers 'n junk aren't my bag. As far as what I'd take more of, it's the chips. Most of the time the cheese given to I at first is enough, so having extra chippies is always neat.

If I have nachos, there's got to be chicken on them.
Lots of shredded chicken, cheese, a few diced black olives, tomatoes, and salsa i where it's at.
