I watched Nickelodeon all the time until I started high school, in 1998. I grew up watching Hey Dude, All That, Keenan and Kel, etc. These shows are hard to watch as an adult. The writing is really lazy and stupid. It's like the writers knew it's easier to make kids laugh than adults, and didn't try as hard.

Yeah, NGL, this got too long and rambling-ly. Like he was done talking about the show itself halfway through and started going off on all sorts of tangents like Catchers in the Rye or whatever. Then there's the childhood memories segments There's so many moments where I kept thinking "get to the point already".

The tooth fairy story was odd... but Catcher in the Rye was a point about influences and with how those who love Pete and Pete love it (like mentioned in the video and me personally) makes sense since its a big deal for those who watched Nick at the time

This one seems most like a love letter to the show, so he could have gotten wrapped up in his random.
The story bits I could do without but there was so much in the rest, loved it.

Part of me feels this was intentionally stretched out in hopes it'll reach the algorithm better given that longer videos usually do.

I wonder if, with this shows alternative/indie rock aesthetic, this show could have worked better on MTV. Granted, you may not have been able to do as many little Pete plots, but I feel it could have found an audience there (they should have at least put some eps on there to test the reaction, other Nick shows have aired on MTV in the past).

SP: Snoopy the Musical
That time they decided to give Snoopy a voice for a while and how one specific song in the musical has history with another beloved IP.

It always was strange to me that Snoopy would have the voice in the comics but never in the majority of the specials.
Also, always good to see "Just One Person" getting love.
