A little underwhelming. Looks a lot less dark than the comics, which will probably play better on the screen. Still cautiously optimistic.

It's obviously going to be toned down but it should be a fun watch if they keep the overall story line the same

Tempted to get AMazon Prime to watch this. Ennis is one of the few modern writers that accepts and runs with the idea that superhero comics are by their nature are childish power fantasies.

My expectations for this is high Might re read The Boys over the next week to continue to get hyped for it and see what things they probably kept out which I assume will be some of the crazier stuff

I am hoping it is as least as good as the Preacher TV show. Been at least a year or so since I read The Boys. But it was one of the few monthly series I was reading when it was coming out.
Ennis is a guy I have loved since I first read him on Hellblazer. And have followed him to Demon and many other titles.

Yea, I believe we talked about this before when I created a Garth Ennis thread like 2 years ago. Almost sort of surprised no one has tried to adapt Crossed

Loved Moore's future tale sent in that universe. I would love a Ennis written War series. His WWII and other war comics have been lots of fun.

Crossed is crazy no doubt, that's one of those things you have to put on Netflix or an HBO or something like that. Their is a way to turn it into something and tone it down a bit but I would assume the people really interested in it doesn't want it toned down

I think at least at this moment in the culture Crossed would come off as a lazy attempt to cash in on lingering zombie nostalgia (at the end of the day, that’s essentially what the Crossed are), but I wouldn’t be surprised if someone gives it a shot in a few more years.

Don’t know much about the comic, but the trailer looks really good. Definitely going to check it out.

I mean it depends how they go about it. Kingdom is a really good Netflix series and while they are classified as diff in Korea, we see them as Zombies and that added a diff element and is renewing it to an extent Crossed can fit into that diff category section but it depends on who directs it. You can either have mindless gore and guts or you can clean it up a bit and focus on the psychological parts of it. The first crossed did a bit of both and probably be more so the one you lean towards to start

The show is apparently up now.
Lots of early reviews are saying that it’s a blast. Hopefully will check it out soon.
