I’m catching up on The Boys. I was not in the right headspace when season 2 came out, so I’ve only seen season 1 until now. Personally, I think having an actual literal Nazi named Stormfront was a little on the nose, but apparently an entire subreddit fell into total chaos over these types of revelations. Stormfront was right out of the comics but was male there. And he was a massive Nazi shithead there too, so people being surprised by that always made me laugh. |

Why do I see so many people saying A-Train had a redemption arc? {Spoiler}{SPOILER: CLICK TO SHOW}All he did was get pissed that a bigger bully than him was humiliating him and he killed one racist. Everything indicates that he's still a selfish dickhead who never learns from his f*** ups. |

Lmao I loved hearing after watching it for the first time recently that ppl got Got by that twist and were not happy. I think they (show ppl) did just enough to make you think "hmm maybe its not that?" in regards to her name until the moment where oh no it is absolutely that. |

Season 4 predictions, non comic reader. {Spoiler}{Spoiler}{SPOILER: CLICK TO SHOW}- Soldierboy wakes up and escapes early on but is killed off quickly, I think he's served his purpose. He's being kept alive as his power draining er power is a Chekhov's gun, I imagine they'll fashion it into a weapon before killing Soldierboy.
- Earving is still alive and will put an end to SB. I think his anti climatic death was deliberate to show Homelander's derangement but him and his little friends will prove to be so popular with fans the show will bring them back to make a short comeback.
- Darth Stormfront is being built in a Vought lab somewhere. Final scene with the Stormchasers her face was noticeable on one of their banners. Maybe see her interact with SB as they'd have known each other back in the day when she was Liberty and they were both in WW2 although not on the same side.
- Homelander kills the guy running for president and ends up on the ticket with Neuman. Probably a laugh for Rogen given that the real life politicians they both resemble are unlikely to ever team up.
- A-Train despite blowing his chances for redemption (he's had at least 2!) has reached self awareness so is toast. I will be surprised if he makes it past two episodes of the next season. He's never interacted with MM much and they both have experience of Supes treating minority areas as playgrounds for their frustrations so a bit of potential there.
- Finale is the gang armed with a Soldierboy powered weapon aim to zap Ryan to cure him of his powers but hit Homelander instead. They decide for the powerless Homelander to be dragged to prison rather than killing a now civilian John. This enrages Butcher who turns heel.
- Season 5 is Butcher as the villain now loaded with V using his remaining months to genocide all Supes around the world and anyone who gets in the way. The others trying to stop him. Homelander in ADX trying to find a way to regain his powers. Somehow The Deep is still alive. |

Finished season 3. The best season of the show so far, easily. The Boys is one of those things like Kick-Ass, where it is technically an adaptation, but for it to be any good, they needed to change almost everything about the source material {Spoiler}{SPOILER: CLICK TO SHOW}Soldier Boy was easily my favorite part of the season, and thought Jensen Ackles was amazing as him.
I'm a little concerned about the Ryan plotline. I'm afraid they're going to do something like saying Ryan is naturally evil because he's Homelander's kid, or something. |

It helps that the story was over by the time they made the show so it’s easy to write the story especially when you can borrow real world material like they have The changes they have made tho have been good and fit into the story. Switching some of the male characters to women like Stormfront worked out really well |
