Going to a house party where they have decided that we are playing Guitar Hero. I like playing the game, but I don't think I'll be playing it too much. I've played 1 and 2 enough this past week.

Earlier in the night, I'll be watching the Packers-Bears game, even though the odds of my beloved Packers making the playoffs are now about the same as the odds of me being asked to join the Misfits: theoretically possible, but not bloody likely.
Before that, I'll be playing some Battlefield:Vietnam with my dad, then getting together with some of the other family to play spades. As far as closer to the midnight hour, who knows. Probably doing my usual of at some point listening to "Long December" by Counting Crows, which oddly always seems to have some meaning for me, though it's changed several times over the years.
This one will probably be kinda hard, since we always celebrated my mammaw's birthday as January first, and this will most likely be the first one I'll greet alone since she passed away.
Wow, it seems to get depressing as the evening and the night wear on, huh?
