I've waited quite a few years for Wolf Among Us 2. The first game got my other half to buy all the volumes of the Fables graphic novels, and to say she is quite gutted is an understatement. Is there any chance the properties/company gets bought over or?

I don't know, the closest we're probably going to get to WAU2 is WAU characters lip-syncing to P Diddy's "I'll be missing you" as part of the closing credits of the final episode of the Telltale Walking Dead game

Aren't they currently working on an Avengers game? You'd think having licenses like Batman, Marvel, and Walking Dead that they'd be doing better, especially considering how good their output typically is.

Something-something-"your choices don't matter-something.
Nah, seriously, that sucks, they have/had some very talented people there and a distinct style. Hope things can get worked out for them.

Really bummed to hear this. I guess they'll be bowing out with the franchise that put them on the map.

That's a real shame. I was especially looking forward to Wolf Among Us 2.

"Telltale's employees will remember that"
But seriously, hopefully their employees are able to find work soon.

Honestly, I'm not terribly surprised. Certain franchises are a perfect fit for the Telltale style, but something like Batman has titles that scratch the itch of fans far more than a point and click episodic series does. That's not to say the games were bad, but they never got anywhere close to Arkham Series level hype, and with costly IP's like that, you need considerable sales.

Just sucks that a company that really got me into Steam is closing down. Hell, they were responsible for my first Bundle purchase

Aw man I loved their games. Batman was damn good.
Was hoping for a Borderlands sequel.

Quick tip: if you have any of there games in your Steam or Gog account that you have been saving to play later or forgot about. Download them now, you might not get a chance later when the licenses for the properties these games are based on go up in the air.
Gog is drm free so you should have no problem with them.

I just bought their Batman game for my Switch. I adored their Game Of Thrones game and was really looking forward to a season 2.

This is heartbreaking. I feel like Telltale was making some great, fun games (I still love the fact that they made a BTTF game) and to see them fall off so fast really sucks.
I both love and hate modern gaming.

That's sad. Their management must have been horrible. Out of all the teams within the past 10 years they're one of the ones that left their mark. Damn.
