I'm torn. Like both looks, was always a WCW guy first and foremost so associate him with the tights/nose strip/fade because he only swapped very late on, but think it was a good thing he changed his hairstyle before he came into WWE because he'd otherwise have probably got even more Rock comparisons- which I always felt were not only unfair but wildly inaccurate- but best not to give any ammunition.
When he bust out the old tights for a random Royal Rumble I marked the hell out. Overall just....man I miss prime Booker T.

Depends. Harlem Heat Booker was better in regards to toughness and intimidation aspect-wise. Singles Booker was better as an overall character and his swagger was far greater. As a kid when we saw singles Booker he was just cool. Yeah Harlem Heat Booker was dope but it was a different kind of dope. Yeah the short dreads and goofy attitude worked better for him in WWE and was better for him long term
Hell, even if he came in when he first won the world title and was coming out with the short hair and slacks looking like a brolic Eddie Murphy I still think by comparison he would have been boring and faded out in WWE. He was a typical white meat.....black meat babyface
Should have kept the don't hate the player hate the game slogan but obviously that wasn't happening with HHH having that name
