I could've sworn I read a report at the beginning of the series that said he was always in the suit. Now I don't know what to believe.

Finally got a chance to binge the first 5 episodes.
Absolutely loved it. I’d consider myself kind of a Star Wars casual, and this is my favorite story that’s come out of the Star Wars universe.

I think the first time I saw Pedros was when he was the DEA agent in Narcos, I had no idea he, Oberyn, and Mando were the same dude until I looked him up a couple days ago.

So I take it this is well worth checking out even if I'm not a huge Star Wars geek? My friend let me borrow her Disney password so I'll need something to check after Watchmen

My friend let me borrow her Disney password so I'll need something to check after Watchmen Jon Favreau has become an absolute master at bringing the 'hardcore fandom' of franchises into the mainstream, while still respecting the source material for the fans who wish to seek the additional backstory. He did it with Iron Man, and he's doing it with The Mandalorian quite handily IMO. Sure, you'll get a lot more out of it if you know the lore behind all of the different easter eggs and history behind what's going on, but if the only exposure to Star Wars you have is knowing what a lightsaber is, you'll pick up enough information for it to be enjoyable. The story is simplistic and easy to follow, but the use of the universe is set in is what makes it special. (...that said, if you've ever read 'Lone Wolf and Cub,' you'll already know the plot, lol).

Watched episode 5 yesterday. Man, this show is just fun. Ticks the western boxes I didn't know I needed in Star Wars.
I'd say that if companies like Disney are going to acquire these IPs and keep copyright law the way it is, it should be a target to set out to do stuff like this and give people a shot at creating their own piece of the fictional universe. Not to say you should blow all your money on that sort of thing but a lot of these companies are making hand over fist anyway, why not?

Awesome episode, though the ending kinda bugged me. {Spoiler}{Spoiler}{Spoiler}{Spoiler}{SPOILER: CLICK TO SHOW}is the dude with the horns legit indestructible? No reason he shouldn't have been a pool of blood and guts on the floor. I know fire didn't effect him but I figured getting crushed by two doors would leave a mark.

"He used to be an Imperial marksman." "That's not saying much."

It would've been better if he was dead.

I loved episode 6! Different tone again to the previous episodes, but it was expertly done. {Spoiler}{SPOILER: CLICK TO SHOW}As soon as the droid started talking I wondered if it was Richard Ayoade doing the voice as it seemed too random to be true, but it was! And then Dave Filoni did a cameo as an X-Wing pilot, hahaha.

Also joining the multiple SW character club along with Warwick Davis and Jon Favereu is Clancy Brown who played Burg, voiced recurring character Ryder in Star Wars: Rebels.

Do I need to catch up on the sequel films first to know what's happening on this? I haven't watched any Star Wars since RotS.
Kids are caught to to everything but the sequel films too. I'm being impatient and wanna watch this first haha
