I never thought I'd be this excited for a frog family reuniting but here we are. It was an incredibly touching moment, as was the final scene with them.

Even a cursory glance at Twitter shows a metric f***-ton of Ahsoka marks geeking the f*** out in expectation of next week's episode. Much as some people want Mando to remain in his own little pocket of the Star Wars universe, there's both room and demand to explore some Clone Wars and Rebels stuff. As long as they keep away from the Skywalkers, I'll be content.

Next week's director is Carl Weathers himself so I'm sure there's no way in hell they would put that weight on a first timer.

Good episode. I liked seeing a new planet, and a cool one too. Learning a bit about Mando and Mandalorians too was nice.
Bryce Dallas Howard is a really good director. She also did one of the best episodes in S1 where she made a bog standard walker into a massive threat.
Wouldnt be opposed to her being handed the next Trilogy. I think she'd do well.

We're gonna find out there's a Burger King on Tatooine. And they offer free refills, too!

My only interest in the Ahsoka stuff is how in the hell they're gonna justify her surviving up until now. They created this character solely to put a face on Anakin's betrayal and then they somehow forget to actually kill her off in two whole successive shows she appears in, so now they've written themselves into a corner where this super powerful and influential character is both alive during the entire original trilogy and somehow has no impact on it.

It is really unfortunate that a character that started out with Jar Jar Binks level of annoying somehow because this Uber-legendary Skywalker level character. Hopefully this doesn’t end with Disney sticking their fingers in and Ashoka and Mando parenting a child that becomes Rey

The only explanation I can think of is that weird time-portal thing sent her into the future after the Battle of Endor. Admittedly it makes no sense but f*** it if I can think of anything better.

Her and Sabine went off into the Unknown Regions in search of Ezra Bridger, didn't they? That can easily account for how she wasn't around for the events of the OT.

Star Wars has a built-in plot armour for when this happens: the Force

Rebels epilogue was post-Endor. The final episodes of Rebels show Ahsoka was either sent forward in time until after the OT or was stuck on Malachor with no way off it for the entirety of the trilogy. I don't know why you find this so confusing.

Rebels epilogue was post-Endor. Gotcha. I'm sketchy on the Rebels timeline as I've only gotten as far as the second season.
