This Flash movie is shaping up to be a Batman movie with just a hint of Flash. I mean, when said Flash is Ezra Miller and the Batmen are Ben Affleck - who is good in the role - and Michael Keaton, that's really not a bad thing at all. Can we just drop Flash from the movie altogether? |

I mean if it was a comic book movie a man dressed as a bat and a dude with lightning bolt ear caps might just be downright silly.
It's not like a comic book movie is one of the highest grossing movies of all time or anything...

It's the same kind of thinking that tries to draw distinctions from comics&graphic novels. I understand why Eisner came up with the term, but we're well past that. Same deal here.
Hell, Maus is a comic that won a Pulitzer. And if you made a movie about it, it's a comic book movie.
