Man oh man. Like, I was not a fan of Ezra Miller's Flash AT ALL in Justice League, but I have to admit this idea they're going with sounds interesting. I SO hope there is a CW Flash reference considering the Crisis crossover. I'm willing to see if this director gets Barry better than Snyder did, thats for sure. Yeah, I'm not going to give up on the character until I see the movie. Just, FFS don't have him tripping over his own feet again, that was just plain embarrassing. |

Wally West, Bart Allen, people like that. Flash is one of the best legacy characters around and could easily be someone new without too much disruption. Only issue is Barry is so young and inexperienced in this universe, so legacy characters might seem a bit too early yet. |

When I heard he might have a role, I thought "ok......maybe unnecessary, but Cyborg's big push up the DC ranks into New 52 technically *started* in Flashpoint, so this makes sense." Then I read this. .........WB/DC does NOT like that man. Wow. |

Some wild 'scoop's on further potential cameos in the movie There's a push to get Barry to visit Nolan's universe, if Bale is affordable, they'll involve him, but if not, his Batman is considered dead in that universe so they might just get someone else (likely Oldman as Gordon) Val Kilmer and George Cloony are being approached for cameos, Chris O'Donnel is being asked to reprise his role as Robin. Grant Gustin from the Flash tv show may be involved given he was the one who named Miller The Flash in Crisis Finally, Nicolas Cage is being asked to play Tim Burton Superman. He could have assumed his own identity, or became Nightwing, or used his Robin name (like how Tim briefly went by 'Drake' in Bendis' Young Justice...before everyone told him how dumb it was, both in-comic and to Bendis in real life) True, but considering that Bruce gave Gordon a new Bat-Signal and the fact that the series made a point to say "Batman can be anyone", I just assumed. |

I’m such an apologetic mark for Burtons Superman Lives but the thought of him getting dressed up for it now just sounds sad  But all of that really sounds awesome. I’d mark out to see JGL as Batman/Nightwing/Red Robin/Whatever. |

Some fan service is cool, but at a certain point you are just making a movie to cater to a loud minority on the internet. How many people would even be aware Nic Cage almost played Superman at one point? Something I noticed previously with the MCU is that if they throw in fanservice, the enthusiasm from the hardcores almost always rubs off on the general audience. Win the nerds, and they'll sell the movie for you. |
