I love and support Jericho. I hate and don't support JR. Ross was in charge of payroll for years in the wwe, he knows how to balance a budget, he could be an asset.

Jericho has a challenging personality but he ran a successful cruise that was assumed to be a disaster, his band is successful, his podcast is successful, he seems to be good at making things happen. The Elite have also obviously been successful at putting shows together. I understand skepticism, it's a tough endeavour to start a wrestling company no matter who's doing it, and who knows what becomes of this one, but I think some of you are getting carried away attaching sinister intentions with these guys and there's no harm in waiting and seeing what happens before trying to get so ahead of it to this degree.

The other thing here is that The Elite probably still have WWE as a fall-back if this doesn't work out.
How hard are they going to go on this project, with that in mind?

Honestly I think they'd be smart to take some cues from early TNA, so long as they correct where TNA went wrong. In particular the set minimum expense filming location thing is a very good idea while growing the brand out.
I feel like that's actually something that gets overlooked a lot, TNA actually grew pretty astronomically early on. Yeah, they eventually torpedoed it but that they had TV deals all over the world and were doing like a quarter of Raw's audience domestically within five or six years of their existence is nuts. The biggest issues they had were they didn't know how to advertise, kept trying to move to the next level instead of enjoying what they had, and were constantly trying to reinvent themselves and driving away the audience they'd already built in the process. Which at least those are things I have difficulty seeing the Bucks and Cody doing because they've demonstrated themselves to be good businessmen who certainly know how to appeal to a market.

TNA unfortunately ran into problems because they trusted a man named Jay Schusman. He was in charge of telling the Jarretts about how many weekly ppvs they sold, well Schusman gave them an inflated number and the Jarretts overspend causing them to lose a lot of money, once they found out they were selling less ppvs, Jerry had to sell the company.

Oh definitely JR can also be criticized, I used to be a fan of his commentary but the New Japan run was really bad.

Well, I wish the best for this if Cody and the Bucks are gonna be involved, it seems like it's the natural evolution of everyone hoping that they'd start a promotion in the wake of All In's success.
But hoo boy is this off to the worse start.
All of those trademarked names seems as corny and try-hard as it gets. All OUT?! Get it?! Instead of All IN?! And you could have called it ELITE wrestling, acronym names for wrestling companies are old hat and sound carny as all get out now with ATTACK and PROGRESS out there (this is coming from the guy who's efed is called Champions Alliance Wrestling, so...). I'd expect this from Jericho, but not the Bucks.
And Shad Khan is a clueless putz who somehow has all the money in the world and throws it into the Jaguars. He's the perfect money mark for this.

Would Khan be the richest wrestling company owner since Turner?

I’m surprised more people aren’t excited for it. Real competition from a family with more money than the McMahons.
Tough crowd here at FAN.

I love and support Jericho. I hate and don't support JR. Honestly, Jericho still has goodwill with me. Jim Ross never had any. He always has his head up somebody's ass, no matter how abusive the relationship. As obnoxious as Gerald Brisco may have been, he didn't stay "true blue" to a guy who liked to fire him every time a medical emergency happened. And, Ross has decided to use a victim complex to excuse himself from actually doing a decent job as an analyst and as a podcaster, which I find more pathetic, given on a personal level that I went through similar things in that time period and didn't use that to wallow in pity.

The Carter family are richer than the McMahons and tna failed. Mark Cuban has more money than Vince can even dream off and his own network, yet he never got ROH or NJPW to the next level.

I can’t defend that. Sigh it happened to JR more than once and he never stood up to McMahon.

Would Khan be the richest wrestling company owner since Turner? If we're talking Tony Khan, then not really. He's got a net worth of about $4.5 Million. If we're talking his dad, then yeah.

Jr is clearly lazy and resting on a reputation he built publicly due to WWE hype machine and asses he kissed from the day he jumped from WCW. He's a shitty person and always has an excuse for every criticism He has ever had.

Ric Flair mentioned in a highspots shoot with Piper that from conversations he had with outside groups, possibly Mark Cuban, that the initial investment to even dare to compete with Vince would be in the realm of six hundred millions. Tony Khan’s pop is gonna have to cover the bill then.
