Iron Shiek has to be the winner. I believe he was done in the WWF in 1992. While he was supposed to compete in the Wrestlemania 17 gimmick battle royal, he is still making his way down to the ring and is looking like he'll finally make it there in just over three years and in time for Wrestlemania 38 and making it 30 years since he last competed.

Skid Mark Underwear and the evening gown match was entertaining? I’ll pass bro. That was two small incidents. Look at the rest of the body of work he did as a Stooge. Yeah their match with Chyna, wow riveting television, or how about JR’s gay jokes? It was more than two small incidents. The stooges were funny at first I’ll admit it, but after a while Vince just booked them on stuff he thought it was funny, and then it became cringe worthy. A lot of Patterson’s appearance during that time is a reason of why the attitude era doesn’t age good, but that’s another discussion for another time.

While he won't beat any records, I thought it was interesting that Kevin Von Erich's three WWE in-ring appearances took place decades apart.
In January 1980, he had an MSG match against Johnny Rodz; in 1991, he had a dark match at some Texas tv tapings against future Underfaker Brian Lee; then his final appearance - not quite a match - would be in 2005, when he applied the Iron Claw to Rob Conway in a Dallas arena.
