That's right, it's Monday again and that means only ONE thing, it's time for RAW, live from Charlotte! With Evolution behind us, WWE begins the road to Survivor Series! That's my story, and I'm sticking to it. Tonight:
*Dean Ambrose, the long-time picture of mental stability that he is, went straight to Stage 7 of the grief cycle and laid out Seth Rollins, mere minutes after becoming RAW Tag Team Champions! What will be running through Ambrose's raccoon-bitten mind as he likely tries to explain his actions before stonewalling the idea altogether and explaining nothing? *For some reason, WWE will be announcing brackets for a fictional tournament! *Some old people will be on the show, under the impression that they will all be having a match against each other later in the week! Just let them go about their business, it'll be easier to clean up the mess later than cause a fuss now. *With Roman Reigns taking leave to fight his returning leukaemia, Vacant is the Universal Champion again. This time next week, however, the belt will magically belong to either Braun Strowman or Brock Lesnar, as one of them appears on RAW tonight (you could probably guess which one)! *Ronda Rousey retained the RAW Women's Championship over Nikki Bella last night at Evolution, but there is already a new challenger ahead of her in Nia Jax. Will their unresolved business finally be resolved? *Baron Corbin broke Elias's guitar last week by occupying the same space as the guitar was while Elias was casually swinging it through the air, which constitutes a face turn for the six-string superstar. However, Corbin is still technically his boss, so there may be consequences, likely in the form of a heel midcarder that will be defeated in two segments!
All that, and what's this about a crown? Pfft, this is America, not England... TONIGHT, on RAW!

On one hand I might go ahead and watch tonight just on the level of I'm really curious to see where things are going with how wildly things have been shaken up, on the other it's probably going to mostly be Crown Jewel buildup and even past everything else there's just plain not anything on that show I actually care about.
I dunno, I guess it'll probably just come down to how awake I feel and how busy I am when Raw starts. Check it out if I have nothing going on, if I do screw it.

I really wish the international live events would go away after this. They've bogged down the weekly shows with some nonsense.
On the plus side, I'm actually looking forward to RAW. It's been months since that was true.

This is the most interested I've been in Raw in a long, long time and I feel a little gross for saying it because of Roman, but eh, The Big Dog would want me to enjoy the show.

The one thing that you gotta appreciate is that Ambrose is going to look at Orton and do everything he can to not get cheered. Hopefully, Braun will have won the belt by the end of the week so we will have a very interesting show once again.

Braun really needs to beat Beastie Boy for the Fruit Roll-Up, he has stepped up to the plate 4 times, and 4 times he's failed to get those hands on the title.
Last week, the Titty Master smashed Seth's skull off the exposed floor. I doubt that many people are going to cheer him tonight, if he shows up. The question is, will people boo him?

Ambrose can actually cut insane promos to go along with it so you got that, the added Shield connection with Roman leaving, you've got the fact that Ambrose has been in that main event tier since he's returned and hell for the past few years, this is already going to make what Orton's doing in the midcard bare in comparison. I'm hyped. This feels like the beginning of a "new era" from a storyline point that sadly had to be due to Roman's leaving. Like the beginning of a new season. We're out of "Roman's Era" so now we'll see if the company can pick up the pieces and adjust. I'm really curious as to who'll be The Guy. My money's on Rollins or Strowman.

We will find out after Beastie Boy vs Braun if WWE see Strowman as the guy. If they have him come up short again for the Universal Title, then they probably don't.

I think Strowman's winning but I also think he won't have a long title run. I see it on Ambrose sometime between TCL and the Elimination Chamber so he can walk into WM with it.

Per the WWE app, Brock will be there eating ruined steak live.
Most of that is true.

this is already going to make what Orton's doing in the midcard bare in comparison. To be fair Orton's been doing a great job of that himself the way he's already slid back into, "Sneer a little, do the RKO, and just work the same matches he's been doing for the past decade while the commentators talk about how evil he is," mode.

Another reminder for UK fans, tonight's show starts at Midnight rather than 1am due to us going back an hour a week before the US.

Taking nothing away from Orton, he's still doing great. I'm just saying Ambrose will have more material, added promos and more overall from a storyline standpoint compared to Orton. Ambrose is probably going to be the biggest heel in the company.

So Brock is apparently going to appear live, I have a horrible feeling WWE is going to make Lesnar talk smack about Roman.
Anyone else feeling this unfortunately?

So why is Brock Lesnar suddenly being called "Beastie Boy"? Is it because Beastie Boy's always on vacation (it seems)?

I'm pretty sure Lesnar respects Roman Reigns. Highly doubt he'd shit on Roman for a pop.
What kind of shit is that?
