Not only has he not wrestled a match on the show since he came back 6 YEARS AGO, he hasn’t wrestled a match on Raw since 2002. 16 years. That match was against Tommy Dreamer of all people. To put it in perspective, the last time Brock wrestled a match on Raw the European title was still active. Look, I know he’s a special attraction and all but how have they managed to have him go this long without a match on TV? We’ve had 2 1000 episode celebrations since he’s been back across both brands. On top of that, the one time it did look like he was about to have a match on TV it was a bait and switch when Rollins bailed the night after Mania 31.

My biggest issue is mostly in the fact they've spent the past year telling us this makes for terrible television only to just revert right back to it for absolutely no reason.

Besides the fact that he's never wrestling and the fact that he's holding the belt hostage with his contract to a level that they implant it in storylines, I hate the fact that dude is built up as being THE END BOSS. Roman ain't working with Lesnar? Keep going with Brock until he is. Roman's ready now? Ok let's slide the belt to Brock. Roman's out? Ok, put the belt on Brock so whoever is next in line can face him and win. This guy has been built up as the strongest guy on the roster for 4 years.
Shit's crazy.

It's mainly because Raw has no roster. Seriously if you confine Rollins/Ambrose to an IC title feud who exactly does Raw even have right now to main event a WM? The only non buried guy they have right now is Drew, but he doesn't currently have the feel to main event WM. A year from now perhaps but not now.

Just wanna throw a couple more facts out there. The last time Brock wrestled on Raw the number one song was “Dilemma” by Nelly, the number one movie was Signs, and TNA was still doing weekly PPVs.

The last time Brock wrestled on Raw, M. Night was still making decent movies, and Mel Gibson was still a respected figure in Hollywood? That's all I need to f***ing see! And it hadn't even been a year since 9/11. And we just marked the 17th anniversary.

To be fair, Tommy Dreamer probably tried to eat him. I'd be too traumatized to wrestle on RAW too.

It made a ton of money, and I saw it in a packed movie theater with most shows sold out. And it was a hell of a lot better than his next four or so. Phoenix was good in it. 😊 But I digress.

I would love brock and paul to be in the ring, suddenly dean and seth come out fighting each other. They end up in ring, brock plays the annoyed champ wanting them gone. Dean dirty deeds him leading to a curb stomp. S&D continue fighting. Edit: lead to a triple threat u.c&i.c match where someone pins brock FFS.

Entering the thread I feared it was about Brock not being the correct amount of sexy I’m relieved that wasn’t the case.

I wouldn’t say perfect because nobody’s perfect but I would say he is the correct amount of sexy to be wwe universal champ when you look at the current raw landscape.

Part of the problem is Brock's past two reigns were garbage and this will be more of the same. He also just had the belt for over a year so we're back to the same old shit.

Did Hulk Hogan ever wrestle on Superstars?(or whatever the a show was in the 80s) He'd almost always wrestle a dark match at the tapings but mostly only appeared in interviews on the show. All I could find was a classic against Boris Zhukov in 1988 for aired matches.

I have to say, I'm one of the longer-serving Brock apologists on this forum and even I'm sick of it. Long, long ago, when Brock was first building towards being the unkillable machine, when he'd just broken the Streak, I was all behind it because of how amazingly over someone would get when they beat him. And nobody has except Goldberg. Now don't get me wrong, my reptilian-brain mark wrestling fan reaction was f*** yeah, because that last Goldberg/Brock match was the f***ing BUSINESS. But ONLY Goldberg has beaten Brock clean since the Triple H feud ended. This shit is meant to be getting someone over. It's not getting Roman over, he isn't here, and might never be again. It's not getting the belt over, it's never on TV. It's not getting Brock over, he's never on TV either. It's not getting the f***ing idiots on Raw more over when they still show up to work despite having nothing to wrestle for. They're lucky that Survivor Series is happening so they have the brand rivalry to explain what they're doing, because as soon as that show's over it's right back to 'I want to challenge for the title... in September of 2020!!!'
