Seems the unscripted one is still a go, and this is just talking about a scripted one that was also in the works. Yeah, this isn’t the one just announced at D23. This project had not been announced yet, I honestly hadn’t even heard rumours. And it’s scrapped in its current format, but it sounds like the new head of Muppets Studio still wants to do a scripted show just wanted to go a different direction with it.

I was following it on YouTube a couple of weeks back and when I got about halfway through the series, Disney threw up a copyright claim and had the videos pulled. Now I know legally they had every right to do that, but I couldn't figure out why they'd bother with an obscure, 40 year old show that never got any kind of home video or streaming release before. But if they were just getting their legal ducks in a row for Disney+ then I understand. Plus Spider-Man and His Amazing Friends!!! Love that show, haven't been able to watch it though since Jetix' heyday.

Never really got to watch Season 2 in its entirety.

Or vice versa. They can be very convincing. The '81 Spider-Man is actually my favorite one as it seems truest to the comics in general. Good to see it get attention. I think most if not all of these were what they had on Netflix, no? Plus possibly Spider-Woman. Hopefully the 1982 Hulk shows up as that's been unseen since the '80s. Surprised no '67 Spidey at least, from things from the '60s.

Might've already been mentioned, but is there any chance that the late 70s early 80s Incredible Hulk series with Bill Bixby and Lou Feregno (sp) will be on Disney+?

Which makes me wonder...does the 1982 series somehow fall under Universal jurisdiction? (they had nothing to do with it, and in fact it was part of the same block with Amazing Friends...but you never know)
