I’m actually interested in Lady and the Tramp for the sole reason that they have actual dogs instead of CGI. It reminds me of the Homeward Bound series, which I loved as a kid. Interesting note, they're all rescue dogs who have found homes. Well this is good. Still don't look forward to another lack of imagination on Disney's behalf. Nor, say, seeing Trusty get injured in live action (again, it's been a week and STILL have Art of Racing... in my head. What's that? My eyes are watery? Noooooo, that's just allergies! Or I just tried pot for the first time!)

For any D23 members, Disney is offering a three-year subscription for the price of two years - $140 altogether.
For those that are interested in this deal, but are not D23 members, reminder that it's free to become one.

Saw a really stupid article on Cracked earlier about how this is basically just Disney putting on a regular cable channel because there are content restrictions and they're doing weekly releases of content. You know.... Because no other streaming service aims primarily at a specific market.... or does staggered releases instead of dumping whole shows at once...
I think that latter complaint is especially stupid because I think Netflix (maybe Amazon? I've never really bothered with them) are the only ones who actually do that.

I always thought that was the best solution and why that bundle makes sense. Disney’s stuff goes in D+, FOX and riskier stuff in Hulu, best solution all around really.

Disney have said Hulu is coming internationally but with Disney+ not confirmed in the UK/Ireland in 2019 and no real date set, if that doesn't have a groundwork yet, I can't imagine how long Hulu's going to take. Which means, what, are FOX movies going to be pulled from services that have them in 2020 even though we don't know when Hulu is coming if it ever does? If not, will Disney just end up signing deals with Netflix and Amazon to tide them over because they're not going to fully cut that stuff off?

With the way Marvel movies and series are still being promoted here in Portugal, I'd guess they'll just coast on Netflix until everything's ready for deployment internationally.

Same for here which makes sense, really.

That brings it down to 3.89 a month and I'm almost certainly going to be subscribing for that time.

I've been looking forward to Noelle since it was announced, so there better be a way for me to watch it here in Aus when it comes out.

Seems the unscripted one is still a go, and this is just talking about a scripted one that was also in the works.
