Yeah, odd we get Hercules the series, but not Aladdin or Tarzan. I thought I saw Tarzan in there, but I guess not. Maybe one of the sequels (there were 2 IIRC). I don't think a lot of the direct-to-video sequels were included either. I recall a few (Aladdin, odd enough) but the wonky stuff like Cinderella 3 / Why Did This Get a Sequel 15 / etc isn't. Even the Tinkerbell movies (though I'm guessing, like Solo, Last Jedi and a bunch of the MCU stuff, yet-to-expire Netflix deals have tied those up). Have to admit - seeing a ton of older/obscure 70's/80's stuff on the release list with 2000's stuff left off (for whatever reasons) was comforting. The insane part is the DTV sequels ARE release day. Return of Jafar and King of Thieves for Aladdin, Tarzan and Jane for Tarzan and (shudder) Cinderella II and III. Just think it’s odd Hercules got the go ahead for its series, Aladdin and Tarzan did not. Ah well, least we got all the sequel material for Lilo and Stitch. WOW, is there a LOT! Same with Tangled.

Very curious to know why the only series from the classic Disney Afternoon that's missing from the Disney + launch is Aladdin.... Or Shnookums and Meat...but again that doesn't count. (Haven't seen the whole video, tell me they DID include S&M, I'm begging you...)

Just think it’s odd Hercules got the go ahead for its series, Aladdin and Tarzan did not. Missed Cinderella 3. I should recheck that list. (When I did, it was still updating.) Yeah, L&S got *many* sequels/spinoffs, and a series too IIRC. Of everything relatively recent, that was very well mined for new material - and from what I understand most of it was well received.

Because internet, I love how a lot of people are most hyped about the inclusion of Shaq's magnum opus: KAZZAM.

I’ll be honest, the biggest surprise on the entire launch list for me is Camp Nowhere. For a kid’s movie, there is some surprisingly adult, non-Disney humor in that flick! Example: Guy sitting on the floor, girl standing over him. He just looks up and says “If you were wearing a skirt, I’d be in heaven right now.” Good luck getting THAT to fly these days! Again, kinda surprised it’s on Disney + over Hulu.

I have this. Got excited for a minute. Girlfriend reminded me of all the 5G ish. Slightly paranoid. I’ll bite the bullet and pay.

If Disney somehow get the Hulk solo movie rights from Universal, sort of expect it to be the same sort of deal to an extent. I'd say it's why Comcast were so quick to give them the Hulu share because they knew they could probably do a "You scratch my back, I'll scratch yours" thing long term.

They've got a lot of their movies on Starz, so I won't complain about display ads to get those movies.

They sent an e-mail with a countdown to the launch of the service.
I've already subscribed for 3 years, I don't need a countdown to remind me.
