Since Jeff Bridges played Stane... and we know that the Big Lebowski exists in the MCU... Did Tony ever wonder why the Dude worked for his dad >_> That was my question out of End Game... not if they wondered why Bucky was in Hot Tub Time Machine... cause I figure that could just be a Last Action Hero move where a different actor played the role... but we know Lebowski looked the same >_> |

Right now I'm 36 minutes into Rookie of the Year and I forgot how classic 90s kid this movie was. Henry is ANNOYING.

I always just assumed that it's either a Last Action Hero thing like what you mentioned, or the character just happens to bear a resemblance to a famous actor and nobody ever brings it up.

I watched two things only today - Steamboat Willie and Marvel Studios: Expanding a Universe.
And I’m exhausted. In a good way. There is. So. Much. And more is coming. It just feels like so much of what I love is here, be it Mouse, lightsaber or an ARC reactor.
Best still, I feel like this thread is an antidote to cynicism, to anger, to unhappiness. It’s a good place centered around a good thing. Let’s keep celebrating a good, shall we?

So I haven't explored the app yet because I'm one of the many receiving error code 73, saying it's not available in my region. Apparently this is a wifi issue people are having. I'm not sure how it will be solved, but if I take my phone off of wifi, the app works. Won't work on any other devices though.

I checked out The Mandalorian last night and enjoyed it despite technical issues. The video would freeze, but the dialogue would continue. Then it would rewind itself and go back to normal. It also did that on The Simpsons last night as well. I watched The Rocketeer this morning and I didn't have any issues. It was also 5AM, so it could be a high usage issue as well.

Started watching Iron-Man. I'm going to go through each Marvel movie from the order of release and damn, I forgot how much I loved this movie. I'm picking up so much from each scene. It's crazy going back knowing what happens in End Game and Far From home little things in each movie |

I'd like to see a "pilots" section featuring unsold tv pilots like Fluppy Dogs, Earthstar Voyager, Pryde of the X-Men, etc, basically a Disney "Hidden Gems" section.

They really need to get Plane Crazy on here at some point. I get they probably don't want Mickey the casual sexual assaulter really put on display and are kind of inclined to just play along with the idea of Steamboat Willie being his debut, but really feel like historically it should be there.

What did you watch today? I watched the first Avengers movie. I watched Mulan and Steamboat Willie, kind of trying to decide what to put on before AEW. Think leaning either Lilo & Stitch or Iron Man. |

I probably mentioned a potential HG section, somewhere in this thread... If not for Hulu, I could see Golden Girls and Modern Family on D+. Once Upon A Time too. What's scary is....if they did a sitcom section, they have the entire MTM Enterprises library through Fox, no? But...that's more for Hulu again. Win, Lose, or Draw was Buena Vista, no? Put reruns of all versions (Lawrence, Convy, Teen, etc.) up there! And while we're on game shows, I cannot ask enough for Contraption. If Disney ever get around to leasing other people's shows, would love a Disney Channel section created, and including Disney stuff and outsourced series like The Raccoons. DTV is probably a no-no due to music rights. |
