In Australia “Spider-Man: Homecoming” was added to Netflix yesterday. So I’m guessing it’s Sony that get to decide which streaming services it and it’s sequel get. I doubt we will see them on Disney+ anytime soon. Which is also surprising cause the recent Sony Marvel films (Venom and Spider-Man: Into The Multiverse) have been going to Amazon Prime Video. It's weird on our end too. Sony has a deal with Starz for their Marvel movies so Homecoming (and most likely Far From Home) as well as Venom are on their channels. Yet Into the Spider-Verse is on Netflix.

Just starting checking the new Ducktales series. Liking it so far.
But why aren’t the first couple of episodes that launched the series on there?
Guessing they are on YouTube or the DisneyXD website ... but for the sake of completion, can’t they just put them on Disney+?

Guessing they haven't fixed the order yet because they're on there, just later on for some odd reason. Woo-oo! is #4 and Escape to/from Atlantis is #5.

More Fox content added including the live action Fantastic Four movies, the Ice Age series of movies and the Eddie Murphy Dr Doolittle movies (just as Universal is about to release the Robert Downey Jr Doolittle movie in cinemas)
Also some more old Disney animated shorts like the Silly Symphony’s and Mickey Mouse have been added.

Seems like it's only Rise of the Silver Surfer, that's the only one I could actually find. Wish they'd put up the Corman one, it's probably the most watchable of them.

Australia has all three of the F4 fox films.

Unless there's some kind of contract with Netflix that they've gotta honor, I don't see why they'd have remove movies when their service isn't even two months old yet.

I kinda get something holiday based like Wonderful World of Disney Magical Holiday celly so you can reintroduce it to get more views but yea why? You own it... that's the point of the service.

And you thought D+ would beat the "back in the vault" trope, ha!
Seriously, though...what gives? My only guess is the movies in question had some adult joke or content they felt wasn't appropriate, but...some deletions were sub-PG-rated, no? And the X-Men movies are up there and unmolested.
The holiday part doesn't hold weight as not all are Christmas movies.
Saw Home Alone 2 and wondered if it was because of (not allowed to talk about on FAN) but even still...why all the other movies?
I mean say what you will about WWE but once they put something up they rarely take it down on the Network.

Some of the licensing deals with the various streaming services include a break where a movie/show will leave for a bit, then will return later for a certain period of time. Due to this, Disney is going to have to pull some content at times because another service like Netflix has exclusive rights to, say, Home Alone once again.

It'll be going on for a while - for example, Black Panther (amongst others) will return to Netflix in 2026.

And that’s not even to say for all the deals that could and will still be made with Netflix if services aren’t coming out in places right away (HBO signed a new deal with Sky to keep stuff there as Disney started taking their stuff off, potentially delaying the HBO Max release for the UK and Europe) or won’t get on any mainstream TV channel (Black Lightning, Titans, Lucifer etc). Unless these companies find a loophole or the media landscape changes overnight, this stuff is going to keep being complicated.

I tell you I am watching Quack Pack, there is just something about this version of Daisy Duck that I find kind of hot. Always been a big Daisy fan, but more so that she is a good compliment to Donald, and a good comedic character, but on Quack Pack, they really dolled her up. Also doesn't hurt that Kath Source is vocing her, and except for Betty DeVille, she can make any character sexy.

And we are officially confirmed for season 7 of The Clone Wars to start dropping on February 17th. What is REALLY fun is if Disney+ sticks to an episode a week and there are 12 episodes as reported, season (and series) finale drops on May 4th.
That’s just too perfect, Disney.
