 Proper Aspect Ratio Simpsons coming next week Good, I was just watching the season 3 episode “Bart The Lover” the other day which has the Swear Jar B plot. During the bit where Flanders phones Rev Lovejoy while he is having dessert the aspect ratio was so shit you could not even see the Reverend’s ruined slice of pie. My tv allows me to manually set the aspect ratio... but I often forget to. |

I was browsing Disney+ after I got it and tweeting Al Jean asking why an episode was missing, not Stark Raving Dad, he got it fixed the next day or so. So he’s good if there is issues. |

The fixed aspect ratio episodes of The Simpsons are now up.
Just go to their series page and go to "Details", they have a toggle to turn the ratio from 16:9 to 4:3.

Disney+ FINALLY fixed the aspect ratio of the Simpsons episodes.
They don't get praise for fixing something that shouldn't have been a problem in the first place.

So I decided to watch Endgame and there was a message in the beginning saying "This program contains product placement". Why does this need to be pointed out? It's not like it's a secret that most films have product placement.

From the consensus you can probably lump it in with a long string of disappointing live action Walt Disney Studios films.
Might give it a curious glance though.

Don't bother. It's terrible. It's short, it's boring, it has pointless additions that make it both confusing and an awful adaptation of source material that's pretty straightforward. It also has Josh Gad doing some of the worst narration I've seen in any movie ever. Narration that never ends. It goes on the whole movie and it's so distracting. And he looks like Hagrid.....for no reason whatsoever. |
