Dude, it's Disney. Literally everybody I know with kids has got it. Netflix and Hulu are a crap shoot in terms of kids content and how long it stays on those platforms, and I'm guessing HBO Max isn't exsctly overflowing with kids content (HBO isn't exactly a kid-friendly brand), but with Disney you know you're getting years' worth of kid-friendly content that isn't going anywhere. If I didn't have kids, I probably would have still gotten it for the library only. I grew up on Disney. Of course, then they added The Simpsons and I immediately jumped. I just mostly watch Plus for Simpsons and Agents of SHIELD (now that the Canada version has S1-S6). |

How does Disney+ have 70M+ subscribers despite Netflix, HBO Max and Hulu having objectively better content? People with kids and the cult of Disney. Don't ever doubt the power of the Cult of Disney. They will buy every dvd and blu ray release of the same Disney film ,just cause "This one has a 4 minute interview with the person that was in charge of putting the cells in the right order." My girlfriend is a huge Disney Nut. She owns like 3 or 4 dvds of Little Mermaid at least 2 blu rays and the 4k release. Plus she has the film on VHS.Pretty sure she has at least 2 VHS releases of it. A friend's stepmom is buying the Disney animated film on UHD 4k. She doesn't have a 4k player. But she has a need to own every disney animated release. I did see most of the Disney animated stuff in theaters as a kid. But that was more cause my mother wanted to see them. Once I hit 10 I stopped going to see them. |

In other news.. it looks like Disney will be soon releasing a separate streaming service called “Star” It’s believed to be a Hulu replacement for countries outside the U.S. and will host more mature content from Disney owned media like 20th Century Fox, FX, ABC, Searchlight and others. whatsondisneyplus.com/disney-star-coming-soon/So a place for Deadpool, Logan, Family Guy, The X Files, 24, It’s Always Sunny In Philadelphia, Die Hard, Archer, Fargo, The Alien & Predator films, Titanic, etc etc etc. Edit: Well that well and good, it’s going to need exclusive content too, if it’s gonna last. |

In honor of it being Chadwick Boseman's birthday today, Marvel has updated the Marvel Studios logo for Black Panther in line with the Stan Lee tribute logo they did for Captain Marvel. Onions are in the room as we speak.

A rumor going around for Hawkeye says that... {Spoiler}...Florence Pugh will reprise her role as Yelena Belova from Black Widow.
Not surprising considering General Ross, Yelena and Taskmaster have been said to not only be involved in a credits stinger in Black Widow showing their alliance...but that they’re also appearing in Falcon and the Winter Soldier. Looks like the road to Thunderbolts is starting to form and it’s going to go through the two series featuring three of their comics leaders: Baron Zemo, Winter Soldier and Hawkeye. F&WS is also rumored to be the MCU debut of Songbird. I’d expect the three of them to be showing up in that show to recruit Songbird and Zemo to the team. |

The bundle with Hulu & ESPN certainly helps. 3 streaming services for about the price you pay for Netflix alone (indeed, cheaper than Netflix for anything beyond the bare-basic 1-screen, SD option) sounds like quite a bargain on paper. Yeah, it's weird op mention Hulu in his statement when... Disney + gives you Hulu... for like what 6 bucks more than base? and base itself is 6 bucks a month which is cheaper than HBO Max, AND Netflix... not to mention Disney weren't stupid like HBO Max and let their service be on literally anything... instead of throwing a fit about the two most popular streaming devices... only one of which they are now begrudgingly adding after like 6 months of massively underperforming. Disney you know also has the Billion Dollar Franchises of Marvel and Star Wars on their service... as well as you know... Disney. My Niece watches Doc McStuffins on Disney+ pretty consistently for instance. and since I'm kinda already being a pedantic ass.... what people find better than others is based on personal taste which is subjective not objective. >_>  |
