No. It's not even Thanksgiving yet. Shame on all of you. To be fair, someone had started a thread related to Halloween in September. I addressed that in the OP. Humbug! I'm just pokin.

Damn beaten to the punch
Note: was not sure if I could post the clip from the movie because of the (obviously fake) exposed boobs on the angels.

I by and large hate Christmas music, but this song hits the pleasure center of my brain just right. Change the lyrics and its a solid pop-tune year-round.
Hell it kinda is a solid pop-tune year round:

Okay, now that it's a more appropriate time, here are a few songs from Christmas on Death Row that were among my favorites.

Here's Darlene Love singing "Christmas(Baby, Please Come Home)" for the first time on Letterman in 1986 And for the final time in 2014. The song is often held up as THE example of the "Wall of Sound"-style of production and Letterman's annual request for Darlene Love to perform it helped one of the more underappreciated singers in American pop music history get the recognition she deserved. Love still performs the song live, but has vowed never to perform it on television again after Letterman retired. Oh, yes. Especially the original version, as it reminds me of the opening credits to "Gremlins."
