Bayley and Sasha I still think have it in them to attain the same star aura that Charlotte and Becky have, but the latter I believe are actually better at their jobs in terms of rolling with the punches, making the most of opportunities and surviving shitty booking when it occurs to them. Bayley has a certain wheelhouse she's great in with no real flexibility to go against that and WWE are punishing for pure babyface wrestlers like her. Sasha feels like she rests on her laurels a bit much, she knows she's really good and expects WWE to catch up to her instead of playing the game. Though I don't think Sasha and Bayley are in such a dire place as people say they are, they're over even though their act is not really going anywhere right now, definitely a far cry from what they were in NXT but honestly given the way their trajectories were going I thought they'd be much worse off than they are now, I think all the need is a little extra attention to get the ball rolling again.

Sasha is as good as Becky and Charlotte. No question.
Bayley isn't.

Yes.
Sasha and Bayley have been left way behind unfortunately.
Neither have delivered on any level in years.
It sucks because I loved these two for their NXT work but they just haven't made the transition for whatever reason.

In terms of male counterparts:
Becky is CM Punk. A little sloppy in the ring, but great promos and character work that more than make up for it.
Charlotte is Randy Orton. She's crisp in the ring and will always be over enough to slot into main events. Kinda boring personality.
Sasha is MVP. Fantastic character work and good enough in the ring, but completely out of her element as a babyface.
Bayley is Sami Zayn. Tremendous babyface whom they just have no idea how to write stuff for on the main roster. Doesn't seem to have anywhere to go without significant character change.
So with that in mind, yeah. Becky and Charlotte are significantly better.

Here's how I gauge it.
Becky and Charlotte would do fine if switched to RAW currently.
Sasha would do way better in SDLive. As Becky has.
I genuinely have doubts about Bayley on either brand.

I'd say yes. I'm a huge fan of Sasha's but her work since NXT seems to have devolved. Her and Bayley are still good wrestlers but they haven't progressed on the mic or in ring. Charlotte, while still not great on the mic, continues to be fantastic in ring and Becky just gets better as she goes.

Bayley and Sasha, if given a compelling story, could absolutely knock it out of the park the way Becky and Charlotte have done, because they were the first to really do it in WWE. Bayley/Sasha from Brooklyn is still the best women's match in WWE history; even with the Charlotte/Becky Last Woman Standing match being as good as it was, it can't touch the Brooklyn match in terms of storytelling and raw emotion. That illustrates more than anything to me that it's all due to how these women are written, combined with specific strengths and weaknesses, rather than one bunch being better than the other. Charlotte is by far the most athletic (for all I fault her, she is an incredible athlete) and can make a compelling heel, Becky is a solid hand in-ring and is far and away the most charismatic of the bunch, Sasha is the best all-around wrestler of them and is incredibly effective as a heel, and Bayley is the best babyface and is the most innately likable.

I think the problem is that NXT feuds and WWE feuds tend to be constructed differently. WWE feuds need bits every week even when the match itself is a while off, and with NXT only being one-hour, its a lot easier to space things out in NXT, which in turn means that NXT feuds can more safely rely on the matches to be compelling rather than everything else as well.

Yes and by a lot no way. Becky and Sasha are still doing their NXT characters and have gone stale.
Charlotte, while not much different, has actually evolved her character.
Becky is off the charts.

Character work: 1. Becky 2. Sasha 3. Bayley 4. Charlotte
Wrestling ability: 1. Sasha 2. Charlotte 3. Becky 4. Bayley
It’s close, in my opinion. Four great talents by any measure.

Yea, Becky and Charlotte have gotten a lot better on the main roster. Sasha and Bayley just aren’t as good of wrestling actors as the other two.

Charlotte and Becky are currently booked much stronger. If Sasha got to be over the top cocky “The Boss” persona, she’d be fine. Bayley’s babyface persona needs a ton of protection, and in her spot currently, I don’t think they even consider giving her half of what she needs. She should get feuds with Mickie James, Nikki Bella and a heel Nattie to build her up as a credible babyface.
They need to give the women something to fight for beyond the respective titles. Everyone can’t be pursuing the top spot.

I feel like at their best Sasha and Bayley are better than Charlotte but it's been a long time since either of them was anywhere near their best. Especially Bayley.

One good program and I feel this conversation would be moot. Hopefully we'll get there within the next year.

It will help if Sasha did not try to kill herself so often while in the ring

but can't deny Charlotte stepped up in the Becky feud

Right now yes, but that can change. A big issue is that Bayley and Sasha just can't get away from each other (Raw's women tend to have that problem a lot) and they have not been able to grow. On one show it's always Sasha and Bayley while on the other Becky did her own thing while Charlotte did her thing. Yes they would team occasionally, but they weren't a package deal.
I think next the best bet is to have it so Sasha and Bayley are far away from each other.
