Elenor love for Stone Cold Steve Austin is not the only wrestling reference I have spotted. A few episodes back when the team arrive in Jacksonville the name of the airport is Macho Man Randy Savage Memorial Airport
Also must credit the commitment to acting by Kristen Bell and Jameela Jamil for doing a scene involving a lizard on Bell’s shoulder.. during the scene the lizard decided to claw its way up on Bell’s head.. neither Bell or Jamil corpsed or broke character.

Some of my favorite Jason quotes:
"I'm too young to die and to old to order off the kids menu! Oh, what a stupid age I am."
"I'm telling you, Molotov cocktails work. Anytime I had a problem and I threw a Molotov cocktail, boom! Right away, I had a different problem."
"What do you guys think The Bad Place is gonna be for you? I'll probably go to a Skrillex concert and I'll be waiting for the bass drop, and it *starts crying*... it'll never come."

Tonights episode might be their best work yet and is one of the best things I've ever seen on TV. Give D'arcy Carden every award now.

Read something that I missed in the viewing: it was a nice little touch to cast Stephen Merchant as The Accountant, considering he worked on the UK version of The Office and Michael Schur worked on the US version.

Do we think season 4 is the last season? The set up last night makes for a logical end game IMO.

Thought I would bump this thread rather than start a new one, but The Good Place will be finishing with it's fourth season. I for one are forking disappointed but least they are going out on their own terms

I’m super bummed but it is also great when someone’s allowed to end a show on their terms instead of trying to stretch it out longer to appease networks and such.

I'm a big fan of Michael Schur. He's helmed some hilarious shows AND he's also a big fan of The Dan LeBatard Show with Stugotz. He clearly has excellent taste.

I'm ok with this. Finish the story and then release a collectors set so I can binge the hell out of it.

Ted Danson and Kristen Bell got career boosts out of it... both got to play new kinds of roles and were hysterical. But I really hope the other cast members get lots of work out of this, especially Jameela Jamil and whoever it is that plays the Real Eleanor. They're both able to milk enormous comedy out of every moment but without stealing scenes, which is really hard.

Jameela Jamil is a superstar-in-the-making and I love her on social media, too.

William Jackson Harper’s in They Remain which I see trailers of every time I go to the cinema now.
