Don’t say CM Punk! Although not made in fighting he certainly has some name value.

This is something of a throwback but there was a prelim in 2004 at UFC 47 between two heavyweights named Wade Shipp and Jonathan Piezorek that was so bad that for years (And it may still be the only case of this happening) they were the only fight in history when both guys debuted for the UFC and neither was brought back.

Was it worse than Francis Ngannou vs. Derrick Lewis?

He was kind of who I thought of when I came up with this thread. I'd like to see him get another shot though. At least watching him get destroyed by a more capable fighter would be watching someone you recognize get destroyed.

He ended up winning but only because Shipp tired himself out by over punching

If you were watching around 4-5 years ago, you probably heard the name Bobby Voelker more than a few times, and only ever in the context of him getting violently kicked in the face.

Artem Lobov is literally in the UFC cause he’s McGregors buddy lol.
He’s the Brutus Beefcake of MMA.

Sean Gannon.
For those who don't remember he was a cop from Boston who ended up getting notoriety on the internet for beating Kimbo Slice in a street fight. Which led to the UFC signing him and at UFC 55, Gannon got his arse kicked so bad he ended having to spend two weeks in hospital.

This might help; five fighters with debuts so bad they were cut by the UFC immediately after:

And then there are fights when two guys look like they have no business being in pro sports.
