The shy filly was perhaps too timid for the world of soccer to have much success although she did try her best and her team loved her. Pipsqueak Represented: Germany Finished last in Group F 3 points 2 goals scored 4 goals received In a most disappointing manner, Pipsqueak managed to botch a team that only had a 99% chance of botching at all. It is obvious that Pipsqueak's talents do not lie in soccer coaching since he is without a doubt the worst soccer coach in history and should be deeply ashamed for such a horrid performance. Pipsqueak: "This was my first training job ever...and I completely blew it. I proved to be even more of a failure as that time I could not procure enough funds from the school budget to pay for the playground equipment. I should probably move back to Trottingham where at least I am used to being a complete and utter failure. Guess I'll have to ask Mom then...."

24. Silver Spoon Represented: Saudi-Arabia Finished 3rd in Group A 3 points 2 goals scored 7 goals received. While faring a bit better than her best friend Diamond Tiara, Silver Spoon's tournament wasn't exactly rosy either. Her ideas of training evidently clashed with the team's point of view, leading to a less than royal performance. Silver Spoon: "I don't know...I never seemed to get through to my team. Except that time when I faced Diamond Tiara because then they appeared to understand that I wanted to beat her so badly. That was strange. Oh well, it was a decent experience but I think my talents lie elsewhere. I am just glad that my friendship with Di is still intact."

"Sounds Of Silence"...gets a 10/10.
Pros:
-I love the design of the kirin. Still true to the mythical beast that inspired them but being adorned with that adorable MLP G4 touch to make them truly look like they belong in that universe. The lighting up when they use their horns also looks neat and not just like a unicorn magic rehash. The story of how they decided to do their vow of silence is also a pretty unique twist given by how fits of anger turn them into Nirix and how them not being able to control the fire they spread destroyed their home, so you get that their reason for staying silent was not done for s***ts and giggles but because to keep them all from getting hurt. Their Nirix form themselves looks certainly ferocious and I would even say that it is my second-favorite dark creature design behind the original changeling design.
-I have now found my waifu after 8 seasons: Autumn Blaze is definitely the highlight of the episode. Her personality, her design, her everything....*sigh* It's like how Pinkie Pie used to be before she turned into less of a character from Season 4 onwards. Basically every scene with Autumn in it was so entertaining, from her pranking Applejack to the reprise of her song, there was never a boring moment with her. Such a wonderful character <3.
-The song itself is perhaps the best song of Season 8 (topping out "On The Road To Friendship" slightly). Just an energetic, upbeat history lesson on the history of the Kirin, brought to us by the wonderful pipes from Autumn Blaze.
-Despite being disappointed that we get a reprisal of a previous mapisode team (the show still needs to do a Flutterpie mapisode in my book), after watching it, I didn't mind. Applejack and Fluttershy were a fun combination (especially AJ's reactions towards Autumn Blaze and Fluttershy's assertive moments) and I love the subtle callback to "The Cutie Map" where we already encountered Fluttershy's affinity to conflictless communities even when they seem strange. And AJ with her mane loose never fails to look good.
Cons:
-Cons? What cons? The only con I could think of would be that it deserved to be a two-parter to give us even more Autumn Blaze.
Yes, I was never sure of a 10/10 than this one.
