Stoops just there for a paycheck. Wade is the best coach on there and a quality get. Woodson I'd be interested to see. Might be a good coach. Where was he before?

Kind of adds hope that this is a Multi year deal. I think the AAF and the pass XFL was one year deals. I feel this time is going to be done right. It seems this group that owning it has a better long term plan. The USFL I don't see lasting after this year unless they make major changes. Like the basic teams have home venues and travel to said markets. Puts the point of having teams in lets say New Jersey if they are not playing IN New Jersey? Can't tell tickets the way they doing it unless your Birmingham. I hope the XFL doesn't do that and stay with what they had last time around. Maybe change some of the markets but at less they have home venues for all the teams.

Disney clearly has confidence in The Rock & Co. because the press release says that the deal runs through 2027. Can they keep the XFL alive for that long? I guess we’ll see.

While running a sports league is different but The Rock has a good history on building successful businesses. With the partners it seems they have the will power to make it go longer than Vince's short term vision. He always been the kind of person they goes all in on everything he does. We will see but I think if Spring football is going to really work, this is it and I this this deal going to 2027 clearly they have that same vote of confidence to the Rock and Co. I don't think Vince's XFL, the AAF got more than one year on a TV contracts. I don't know what the USFL deal has, I seem only about this current season. Even though the article title claimed multi year but nothing said anything beyond the season. I don't see how the USFL is going to last with no fans going to 90% of the games.

I don't like it. He's a great coach for sure but I have a hard time with him in a league focused on player development and safety given his scandals.

Honestly if the XFL and USFL was smart they'd should have their respective bowl winners play together. It's honestly cool seeing two other leagues besides the NFL semi succeed and not end belly up

New York, LA and Tampa are out. Without the first two, hard to look big league. No Bay Area team either, which sucks for me.

Why in the world you don't put a team in Georgia or Alabama where football is looked at like a religion is beyond me, but whatever.

Might be too much competition and/or access to a venue. Though I do remember the Bolts didn't draw well in the first incarnation of the league.
