Doesn't Spotify pay artists next to nothing in terms of royalties? His album could be a massive success on there and he'd still be left hugely out of pocket. That said, I doubt actual paid downloads will be any better, he made a huge mistake attacking the one fanbase that cares about him on any way from the get go, and, y'know, being crap as an artist and person. Now we're going to get a whole bunch of publicity stunt as he tries 'viral' marketing, more unwanted cameos at wrestling shows, social media attacks on artists out of his league, then desperate attempts at getting on reality TV, via youtube or twitch shows. On Spotify/Apple/any other streaming sites, the artists get .006 cents per play. For an example, I was in a band in college, we made an album, sold it through shows like you used to do back in the olden days. After watching the movie Hearts Beat Loud (which is delightful, by the way. Check it out), I realized how easy it is to put music on these sites, so we put the album on Spotify and Apple and were able to post about it on social media. In a few months, we've gotten about 1500 plays, not bad for a local band that ceased to exist in 2003. We've made about $7.50. Of course, we also paid off that album in 2003 and aren't looking to make any money, just wanted to put it up there so it exists in the ether. You have to get millions, if not billions, of plays if you're looking to actually make any money off streaming sites. So Enzo ain't gonna get paid.

Shit, he's starting to release more of this crap. There's a new song called Grace on there. Right, let's listen again. Some of the comments are calling this straight fire. www.youtube.com/watch?v=I4iJkluhalQObv language warning. I wonder how much Enzo paid the commenters.

Somehow in a thread about Enzo Amore I'm more offended that people admit to liking Taco Bell. I mean they're the only thing open at 3 am next to the metal night club in Leeds and they make vegan tacos.

Thanks for reading the review, glad you liked it. I had to unplug for a week on anything/everything Enzo because spending so much time with something so terrible really had side effects I was not anticipating, but I'm glad to see it was worth it. Shit, he's starting to release more of this crap. There's a new song called Grace on there. Right, let's listen again. Some of the comments are calling this straight fire. www.youtube.com/watch?v=I4iJkluhalQObv language warning. And we're back. OK, "Grace." I'll say thing 0:10-0:21 is the best ten seconds of rapping that Enzo has ever done. He acknowledges the parts of him we're interested in, is on-beat, found a tolerable use of his voice, and actually had some intriguing wordplay with the "lost" motif. This is a glimpse of what a perfect world's best-case-scenario 2018 Enzo Amore rap album would sound like. I was super optimistic when I heard this as pretty much ever criticism I had for his last project seemed to be improved upon. But then immediately he loses his flow and structure and the song goes off the f***ing rails again. f*** this guy so much. I think the most frustrating part of "Grace" is that those ten seconds show he is somehow capable of making a rap song that actually sounds like a rap song, but is surrounded by enablers (whether through greed or apathy) who just let him crank out indecipherable messes. Had this been the first track we ever heard from him, it'd be an acceptable starting point, but considering all the resources he's pouring into this it's just baffling. Also, for how much money he's spending, how has he not thought to invest in a single guest artist on absolutely any of these tracks?

Also, for how much money he's spending, how has he not thought to invest in a single guest artist on absolutely any of these tracks? Enzo strikes me as the kind of guy who people put up with because he's paying them. Everyone involved in is music's production is likely dealing with him because they know he's got cash and they want to separate him from that cash, but with beyond that? If people are writing him off as just not worth the effort of trying to polish up any further, if he's resistant to the idea of doing something better, or even if he's just paying people willing to take any hapless sap for a ride--and there's a lot of those in music--I don't think anyone cares enough to do more than the absolute baseline expectation of what he's paying them for. And I honestly can't blame them for that. Not in music, but I've had writing gigs before where I just threw my hands up and said "Okay f*** this client I'm doing the exact thing they want as they want it, f*** fixing this, I'm done", and I've never had to say a word in person to those people. For anyone producing this man's album physically with him in the studio, with all the people calling him an asshole, I have to imagine those recording sessions are a matter of getting it done and getting the f*** out of there.

While not a great song by any means, that Grace song is probably the best song Enzo has done easily. He actually doesn't come across too bad with it and you get the idea that even if he can be an ass he at least really loves and cares about his grandma.

Real1 finally made a good record Yeah right, that shit almost sounds convincing The last time I felt as sick and contradictive as this Was the time I got drunk at Survivor Series "Get real", they tell me If only they knew how real this life really gets They would stop acting like a silly bitch They would respect the cock whether or not they believed in it
