Movie was awesome and accomplished what I expected out of it....visually IMO it is both the most visually beautiful MCU movie but also has the best fight choreography of any Marvel movie thus far.
Although I expect Eternals to easily snatch that first one away.
What surprised me is that it was not quite as comedic as I thought it would be especially the way the TV spots would show Awkwafina , there were funny moments but nowhere as many as an MCU movie is known for.

{Spoiler}Was genuinely surprised to see Trevor Slattery show up. I had heard the rumors but I kinda just put them in the same category as "Magneto will show up on WandaVision". Glad he appeared with his Pokemon. |

Shang Chi was an E lister and seems to be following the same path

So much for movie theaters being dead But is this vindication for Patty Jenkins? Yes, but not 20 minute olympics scenes followed by 10 minute movie fight scenes in a mall. |

Saw it last night, and boy the people hyping this up weren't kidding, this was damn fun. Marvel Studios arguably boosted another obscure character to triple platinum status.

It was a decent film {Spoiler}{Spoiler}The whole time I'm watching the ten rings in action my mind keeps casting itself back to Go'ould teleportation rings from Stargate
I'm glad there wasn't much comedy, not even that much from Trevor, everyone treated the situation with a great degree of seriousness when they had to, and there was always a tense beat to make sure there was no room for a lot of wise cracks. And I was glad to see that when the Shang Tsung stuff happened towards the end, they didn't end up just going back to the bodies when the Dweller was defeated and people actually stayed the f*** dead
I knew about the mid-credits before I went in for this, I'm sure Bruce being back to normal will be explained in She-Hulk. Oh, and sorry Brie, you're still pretty terrible at comedy |

Saw it today in the cinema and thought it was really good. The screening was quiet but it was 13:15 on a Friday afternoon.
All the actors killed it, the action was really refreshing for a marvel movie and the Shang Chi/Father relationship was incredible. Some genuinely touching moments.
My favourite stand alone marvel film since Black Panther and would put it up with the best in the franchise.

Xu Wenwu may be the best Marvel villain yet. There really are times where you feel for the guy, because despite being a 1000 years old and a complete tyrant, he's still being manipulated by forces beyond him who are playing on his grief. The stuff with him and his family after he decides to not be head of the Ten Rings really strikes a chord, and you can't help but feel sorrow for the guy at points because of the tragedy that befalls them.
