What was with the WWF doing covers of obscure songs? First F Everybody on the Wrestling Album (cleaned up to be called For Everybody), now this. |

What was with the WWF doing covers of obscure songs? First F Everybody on the Wrestling Album (cleaned up to be called For Everybody), now this. Everything on that album was a cover (except Jimmy Hart's song and "Hulk Hogan's Theme"). I believe David Wolff was a writer of the original versions of Junkyard Dog's theme as well as Slick's. He worked on both TWA and Piledriver, so he just remade those songs for WWE. |

I never even knew this was a cover. Mind officially blown. I will say though, Slick's has far more energy and is far livelier than the original. |
