From the director of 'Black Snake Moan' and the screenwriters of 'Ed Wood.'
I'm interested, good find!

(This is actually from the sequel to DOLEMITE, THE HUMAN TORNADO....not DISCO GODFATHER)
I'm down for this. Both in the sense that this could be Eddie Murphy's comeback movie, and I'm hoping this will do lead to a resurgence in popularity for the Rudy Ray Moore movies.

Tower Heist was a lot of fun. Whatever gets Eddie away from all those Disney movies is worth a watch to me. I’m not knocking him for getting his money but Eddie is a lot more fun in more adult content.

the screenwriters of 'Ed Wood.' It's going to be interesting to see which angle they go for here, then. When the script for Wood was written, they had based it on the book Nightmare In Ecstacy, which contained a lot of wildly exaggerated and false anecdotes and details of Wood's life. When they discovered this, they wanted to rework the script to get it more in line with reality, but Burton told them no, he wanted to direct the script he saw first. Rudy Ray's life story has had more than a few exaggerations added to it by his contemporaries over the years, just as had happened to Ed, so I have to wonder which route they'll take on this one; exaggerated or more grounded in reality.
