And how old are you?
I’m 43 and am in to music more than most people I know, but I’ve never looked for anything new, it just kinda found me.
I have a wide range of stuff I like, but it boils down to simple stuff-I want catchy pop type stuff-whether it be Van Halen or the Beatles, I don’t really care what the song is trying to say.
A lot of people seem to put a lot into the artist’s words or what’s in their soul or something. It’s just not my thing.
So how about you?

Pretty interested, in the sense that I can't listen to the same artists for too long before wanting to expand my tastes and explore.

I use the Discover Weekly and New Release Radar features on Spotify to find new music, though occasionally I'll hear something new I like on the radio.

If you saw me at the gym, there will be moments that I will check on the artist of the song that's playing and write the name down on my memo.
I am 32, by the way.

30.
I’m quite lazy and disillusioned about it the last few years. But as of like, the last few days literally, I was looking up lists like Pitchforks of the best songs of 2018 to see if I could discover anything good. In my early 20s I used to look up a lot of random ass music on the internet.

Extremely. I'm in a music discovery renaissance this year. I'm 32 now and I hope I never grow out of it.

I’m 34 and my seeking out of new music has really started ramping the past 5 years or so. I just got tired of staying in my Beatles/Stones comfort zone. I still love that stuff, but I just wanted to broaden my horizons. And there’s so many avenues to discover new music, that it’s easier, and cheaper, than ever.

34 Years old and there is always room for new music in my life. BBC Radio 6 has introduced me to some great stuff lately like Idles and Pigs Pigs Pigs Pigs Pigs Pigs Pigs (yes that is their actual name). Always ready for more. Listening to an awesome Song or Band for the first time is a feeling I will never tire of. People around me after the 50th play however might

I'm 37 and I'm always looking for new music to listen to. The problem is, I can't find a lot of it that I like.

In my early 20s I used to look up a lot of random ass music on the internet. Pitchfork has been smoldering garbage for a while now. I'd steer clear. I strongly recommend Rateyourmusic to everyone. It's where I've found most of the non-metal I listen to. To answer the question, I just turned 30, and music is my biggest passion. I'm always interested in discovering new stuff.

I got Spotify to help find new music, love my weekly discover playlist. Yet when the end of years stats came out it turns out I've mostly played the same old shit I've been listening to since the 90s.

22 years old and I generally look for new stuff to listen to all the time while keeping some old favourites around.
Usually I browse reddit for recommendations on new stuff and most of the time it's with a rock or metal bent, though I listen to stuff from other genres as well just not as much.

I absolutely love finding new music, even old music that’s new to me. Couple years ago I got into Squeeze and Steely Dan and got deep into their cartalogues.
There’s also some great new music that’s considered Indy or alternative over the past three years that’s awesome.

Old Enough (thankfully not the oldest one in this thread, though).
Not super-interested. Slightly interested.
There are a couple of indie playlists that put out around 3-6 lists per year and I go through those tracklists to see if I find anything I might like.
But as far as trying to really deep-dive into genres I'm not terribly into, I don't really do that.

32, metalhead, and I try to buy albums from bands I've never heard of at least a a few times a year. They're not always necessarily brand new bands, just bands from the past that I've not gotten around to listening to yet.

I'm 30, and while I don't go actively seeking new music, if something happens across my path that's awesome, I'll usually do a deep dive on the artist or genre.

27 and always looking for new stuff to listen to. I have my favorites that I listen to every day, but I tend to get restless if I'm not finding a new album I haven't heard. 30.
