No-Bake Maple Cream Pie
3/4 C. Maple Syrup 1/2 C. Maple Sugar 4 Egg Yolks 2 C. Half and Half 1/3 C. Corn Starch 1/4 t. Salt 1 T. Butter 1 Graham Cracker Pie Crust
Mix together the Syrup, Sugar, Eggs, Half and Half, Corn Starch and Salt in a heavy saucepan, then bring to a boil. Continue boiling until thickened (the original recipe says this takes about a minute but it happened almost instantaneously for me). Remove from heat and add butter, mixing it until it's completely melted and incorporated. Pour into the Pie Crust, cool and refrigerate overnight. Serve with whipped cream and berries.

Do pancakes with maple syrup count as a dessert? I mean they could, right?

I actually tried this because I happen to have all the ingredients (I even made my own graham cracker crust). I burnt it but other than that, it's not bad! Thanks for sharing!

It's one of several maple pie recipes I found in a cookbook I bought when I went to Vermont about two years ago. They're all good but this is easily my favorite.

Do pancakes with maple syrup count as a dessert? I mean they could, right? Done properly yeah, but I lack the skill to do the fancy Pancake and regular pancakes are not really party food. this actually reminds me of a peanutbutter + maple syrup recipe an old lady told me in Canada.I might do a little of it.

Man i'm gonna end up spending all my food money on a bunch of ingredients and ending up cooking a bunch of different maple themed food
