Has anyone else noticed this? The first time I recall it clearly was Strong Style Brand sponsoring JT Dunn a few years ago. They’re a clothing line that targets the wrestling audience from what I can tell.
How much can indie wrestlers make from doing this and how much exposure can these companies get? Is it mutual beneficial. I’m not sure if Dunn still rocks the Storm Style Brand clothing as I haven’t paid nearly as much attention to the Indies as I have in the past.

SPLX clothing sponsored a lot of guys a couple of years ago, YouPorn sponsored whatever the hell Joey Ryan was doing.
I don’t think SPLX really gave them anything of worth, unlike cringe inducing Ryan, he made a killing.

I know Arik Cannon was sponsored by PBR. I don't remember what the cash amount was, but he got paid to go drink after shows.

Here's the SPLX TEAM page that shows the people they're sponsoring: www.suplexapparel.com/team/It's quite outdated though as Prince Devitt changed his name A LONG time ago. Heck he became Universal Champion and some people WWE will never push him that hard again in that time.

Unfortunately Prince Devitt proved that if this was a movie he would be cast as the best friend not as the lead star but that’s another discussion for another day.

I don’t think he’s going to be Denzel, but maybe the guy that vacates the title Denzel wins.
