Previous polls: officialfan.proboards.com/thread/553439/opinion-best-batman-film-2016officialfan.proboards.com/thread/567734/best-batman-film-2017Fine folks of FAN, once again I come to you with a poll asking you to pick the best Batman film of the year! This one is interesting, since we don't have a big theatrically released tentpole-type in the mix. Instead, choose from these three direct-to-video flicks: SCOOBY-DOO! & BATMAN: THE BRAVE AND THE BOLD, as the title suggests, sees Diedrich Bader's light-hearted take on the character joining forces with the Mystery Inc gang (Frank Welker as Scooby and Fred, Matthew Lillard as Shaggy, Grey Griffin as Daphne, and Kate Micucci as Velma) and some other DC superheroes (including John Dimaggio's beloved Aquaman). BATMAN: GOTHAM BY GASLIGHT sees a Victorian Era Dark Knight (voiced by Bruce Greenwood) attempting to deduce the identity of the infamous Jack the Ripper (no spoilers from me). BATMAN: NINJA sees the Bat-family AND Batty's rogues gallery transported back in time to Feudal Japan, anime-style. The American voice cast includes Roger Craig Smith as Batman, Tony Hale as the Joker, and Tom Kenny as the Penguin, among others. There are your nominees. I leave it to you to decide what criteria is used to determine the "Best." If you really wanted to vote for TEEN TITANS GO! TO THE MOVIES, which does feature Batman prominently, I'm sorry. This is limited to films that specifically refer to Batman (or a reasonable alias like The Dark Knight or The Caped Crusader) in the title.

I only saw Batman: Ninja, didn't exactly care for it, didn't vehemently hate it either.

Saw Gotham by Gaslight and Scooby. One was a decent comic that didn't translate well to video. The other was fun.

I went with Scooby Doo. I love Diedrich as Batman. Gaslight was alright, Ninja didn't do it for me.

I really enjoyed Gaslight because of the entire setting and the twist of who the ripper ended up being was cool enough for me overall just really enjoyable.
Batman Ninja is a close second though...was something and I still have no idea how to feel about it months after I have watched it because what started as a Batman film ended up as one hell of a cocaine trip

Brave and the Bold is one of my favorite versions of the character so it's a no contest.
