So The Iron Sheik wound up here between Vince firing him in 87 and his very brief WWF return in 1988. I never knew that. I always thought he was in the AWA the whole time.

Sharpe was actually a fairly top name before he went to the WWF. He was never THE top guy but places like here and Mid-South, he was in the higher side of the card.

Sheik also worked Puerto Rico and one independent show in Canada during his time between WWF stints.

Yeah, I knew this, but he will always hold a place in my heart as the greatest jobber in WWF history.

Actually the real reason I ask is that the name "Mike Sharpe" is kinda generic enough that I thought there could've been more then one of them floating around at the same time.
