Please find a way to upload it. He needs to be exposed if it’s true, and I say that as a fan of the guy. I wouldn’t be completely surprised, but if true I’m surprised someone hasn’t already uploaded it. I’ve given him a lot of free passes after questionable shit he said specifically about religion but I won’t do it anymore if this is true.

I have a videotape I traded for back in the day from a Smoky Mountain Wrestling house show in Johnson City, TN in 1995 where Cornette asks a black security guard to eject a fan who shoved him, and when the guy doesn't throw the fan out, Cornette proceeds to shout the N word at the guy repeatedly, while also calling him "boy," and then proudly shouts the N word again directly into the camera lens that filmed the whole scene. Racist piece of garbage. Please find a way to upload it. He needs to be exposed if it’s true, and I say that as a fan of the guy. Seriously. If you're telling the truth and this exists, upload it.

Looking at cagematch.net, Smokey Mountain ran Johnson City 5 times in 1995, and four of them were named(aka major) shows, and the other a TV taping. If this does exist, I couldn't believe it didn't come out sooner, especially with how generally left Jim seems to lean.

Kenny Omega seems to be a pretty mild mannered performer.

It's during a match where he's managing Buddy Landel. From early in 1995, I think January. I'll try to find a way to upload it. In the meantime, I don't even have to, to prove my point. There's already a video on YouTube with Cornette talking about a completely different incident with a different security guard at a different show, where he admits he used the word with that guy, too. It wasn't a one time thing. youtu.be/9OzvftFOhq8?t=213

Kenny Omega seems to be a pretty mild mannered performer. He was always really cool to people at the video game tournaments he was at. A few of my friends met him at CEO and he was always really nice

I'm sure if you pick deep enough, almost everyone will have some sort of social view you don't like buried inside of them. Not Molly Holly or Bobby Eaton. Molly had (has? Not sure if they're still around) that one YouTube troll who kept going around trashing her but that person came off... a bit unhinged, to put it nicely.

Bobby Eaton's one flaw is he was/is a drunk.

Yeah, I'm thinking we can file this into the "There were multiple Ultimate Warriors" bin.

Kenny Omega seems to be a pretty mild mannered performer. Well, aside from associating himself with the Pedophile Chasyn Rance, and all.

Bobby Eaton's one flaw is he was/is a drunk. That’s everyone in the 80s who wrestled.

I'm torn on the idea of Colt being wholesome. There's enough stories of him being a bit of a dick to other, less famous guys and being all about the money with merch etc to qualify.
But then he is essentially a bit of a dumb jock (as evidenced anytime someone speaks about a subject he doesn't understand on his podcast) so it's unlikely to be maliciously.

I know he doesn't really count and people have strong feelings about him, but at the two indie shows I saw him at, Cornette was EXTREMELY nice. Dude had time for everyone and genuinely seemed to give a shit about his fans. There were people in Bullet Club shirts talking to him and he was just as nice to them as everyone else. From my experience, I'm pretty sure he's still somewhat playing a character and just gets a kick of pissing certain folks off. I'm not gonna dance around it like the others: This sounds like complete and utter horse shit.

Oh, it's true. The camera is literally at ringside, positioned at the timekeeper's table, and filmed it all. Cornette's dressed in camouflage, doing some sort of Cornette's Army type gimmick while managing Buddy Landel. The whole match stops for about 2 minutes as the incident occurs and Landel heads to the floor while it all happens. Cornette threatens to fire the black security guard for not listening to him as promoter of the show and throwing out the fan who shoved him, before it spirals into the racist stuff. Finally an older white security guard (who looks to be an actual cop, rather than t-shirt security like the other guy) comes over and throws the fan out, while other security guards escort the black security guard back from the scene, and then finally the match resumes. As they're ejecting the fan, Cornette shouts to everyone in earshot "She shoved me. He saw it, she saw it, everybody saw it except the n*****!" and then walks right up to the camera and just yells "N*****!" proudly. Disgusting scene that I've never been able to forget. He has justified a similar situation that happened in Wise, Virginia about a year earlier. He doesn't even try to deny it. You can watch the video of him talking about it where he admits to doing this sort of thing. It's already on YouTube. www.youtube.com/watch?v=9OzvftFOhq8&feature=youtu.be&t=213. He defends it as basically he'll say anything he can to piss someone off when he gets into a fight with them, including using the N word. The Wise incident got more attention when it happened (it ended up on the front page of the Observer and Torch the next week) because people at the show were interviewed by the sheet writers when word started to spread.

If we're talking their personas, then Kylie Rae. I don't really assume people are exactly like the characters they play, but she seems genuine.

What I call wholesome will offend half the population. Even a lot of the ones paying Lip Service to today's Social Zeitgeist deep down don't really mean it. They just know it could hurt their career if they let if slip on Social Media that they don't actually feel that way.

Mathew Tremont is actually the world's nicest person I've heard something similar about Nick Gage of all people (pretty sure this was pre-armed robbery, though). I saw a theory that so many of the deathmatch style guys (Tremont, Gage, Thumbtack Jack, etc.) tend to be nice guys outside of the ring because deathmatches require so much coordination to pull off well and not legit kill each other, you really have to be able to trust the other guy in the ring, and deathmatch wrestlers understand that.
