They f***ing were NOT going with Rousey v Natalya at WrestleMania, come on now, Dave. ...Right? Nattie and Tyson are two of his sources so he always puts them over. He actually has people convinced Nattie is a great wrestler She’s a solid to good wrestler.

Nattie is probably my favourite woman’s wrestler. Been a fan of hers for YEARS... like when she first debuted.
I don’t think there’s “better” women. She’s at least on par with the best in the company as far as matches go IMO.

I think every match should happen concurrently. Everybody gets to open the show. Everybody gets to main event. And the whole thing is over in about 45 minutes:

In a swerve Becky/Ronda sit in the middle of the ring tweeting at each other.
And it's anything like it is now, it'd be the Twitter equivalent of Ronda attempting limp-wristed slaps while Becky bashes Ronda's head in with a hammer.

I wouldn't be TOO upset if the WM main event was Becky vs. Charlotte vs. Ronnie, but Becky vs. Ronnie one on one is the match I think they should do. The Queen can afford to sit this one out.
And Nattie's OK (not a fan as I've said many times before but she's a decent hand to have), but the thought of her getting that spot f***ing suuuucks.

Has to be Becky vs Ronnie - if they shoehorn Charlotte in there that’s fine but Becky 100% needs to go over.
As for Nattie, I mean c’mon Dave. She might have wanted that match and she’s a really good hand but it’s such a waste of Rousey at a big PPV.

So Roman was going to main event 5 Manias in a row? Blaaargh.

I like triple threat matches and I feel adding Flair will improve the match quality especially if they want it to be a longer match. I guess they might do it if they want Becky to win but not pin Ronda and save that aura to promote for other shows.

Meltzer also noted that on the Christmas night shows at MSG and Chicago the women's matches main evented both shows....and fans walked out in droves. Was at the MSG show last night, can confirm since I was one of the ones who left early. I think it's a bit myopic to suggest the walkouts are due to women's wrestling not being appealing though, since for MSG there were multiple factors at work: 1. The main event was Ronda/Nia, which just happened on PPV. 2. Ronda/Nia had to go on after the Cena match. The crowd was very, very pro-Cena since it was lots of families, and I can imagine that he was the main draw for a lot of the people who showed up. 3. Not to put too fine a point on it, but, after a nearly three-hour show, the main event featured Nia Jax. Becky/Ronda, if it were to main event Mania, would be going on in front of an extremely smarky crowd, is a fresh match that hasn't been done yet, and features one of the hottest acts in the company against a very over face. It's a very different scenario all-around than the MSG house show. Also, I'm normally totally opposed to Charlotte getting shoehorned into every historic moment for the women, but with the Mania main event it would actually make sense storyline-wise. So as long as she doesn't win I'd be fine with a triple threat. What matches got the biggest responses? Who received the biggest reactions?

So Roman was going to main event 5 Manias in a row? Blaaargh. Yeah, as much as I love Dean and wish for nothing but the best for Roman, the thought of dude getting yet another main event after three straight shitty WM matches in a row is somehow even worse to me than Natalya vs. Ronda.

What matches got the biggest responses? Who received the biggest reactions? Biggest reaction on the face side was Cena (who was advertised) and Vince (who was not). Difficult to tell who got a bigger pop between the two of them. Biggest heel heat by far was Corbin. Cena/Corbin (the match Vince set up), Rollins/Ambrose, and the Finn/Dolph/Drew matches had the crowd most invested. The NXT tag match didn’t get much of a response though the crowd was surprisingly into Adam Cole (that could’ve just been where I was sitting though).

Yeah, I’ve been going over the logistics. And I’m still not quite sure. But I’m leaning towards the latter.

On that last note of Rousey's stint in pro wrestling being definitely temporary. Is that confirmed somehow someway? Has she said she for real wants to 'go home and be a family woman' sooner rather than later? Or, that perhaps she wants to try giving movies another try and if she can be successful in that she leaves WWE behind, or something like that? I don't think you can necessarily say that "because MMA was temp, WWE will be temp too". She definitely wouldn't be the first person ever to go from a real sport to pro wrestling, and to stay in pro wrestling longer than the real sport. So is Ronda's intent known on that? Is it "I kinda want out in 2-3 years."? Or is it "I want to stay signed with WWE as long as WWE will want me signed."? She gave an interview last year around Summerslam where she talked about how she initially envisioned wrestling for about a year, but that she'd been enjoying it so much she was leaning hard towards stretching it out some more. In the same interview, however, she also reiterated that she definitely wants to have children and settle down relatively soon (she'll be 32 when Mania arrives). I'd say 2-3 years total is the window she has figured out at the current moment.

So, the report says the women may or may not main event WM? Plans change. Now where’s my $11.99? On another note, hire a frigging editor Dave. Seems more likely to me that someone transcribed a part of one of his shows rather than copying an article or something from his message board, that is usually how this happens. I'll never get the disbelief on the "plans changed" report when nearly every person from Vince to least important person in the company have talked about things changing up to show time and sometimes in the middle of matches. Then again I only trust stuff I know came from guys like Meltzer or Johnson and not the leech sites that just steal and change material for clicks.

Nattie/Ronda would be a definite possibility, if for nothing else they would consider Ronda the draw & Nattie the opponent.
If Rousey wants to start a family, I can definitely see the logic in this being a short cycle for her. Even if she isn’t working live events/house shows full time, the travel grind for just working TV and limited events is probably a lot more than what she dealt with in UFC.
The challenge they continue to have is that Ronda, Becky, Charlotte and Asuka are one level and everyone else isn’t. They can only rotate those four so many ways & times.
