You know the WWF could have easily have Horsemen like faction 1991, but they missed the boat. In the fall of 1991, the Undertaker he had these seperate alliances with Jake Roberts and Ric Flair, if they combine them, could have been a Horsemen like faction. You have Flair and Jake help Taker win the title at Survivor Series 1991 and thus these 3 headed monster is form. Remember that is how the Horsemen got started, the Andersons had alliances with Flair and Tully, and than those alliances merged to form the Horsemen. Could have done a similar thing here.
I mean he could work, Jake never cared about titles, so he wouldn't get in Flair's way of his title goals. And if the Undertaker still turns face, just replace him with Sid. Those two turns happened on the same night, Savage went from feuding with Jake to Flair, on the the way to Wrestlemania on the hosue shows, Savage had steel cage matches with Jake, and Sid replaced Taker as Flair tag team partner against Hogan and Piper on the house shows.
And after Jake and Sid leave, just replace them with Razor.

I could see Flair, Razor, HBK and DiBiase - they came off as playboys with a taste for the finer things, and Sherri could have managed both Shawn and DiBiase at once instead of having to choose, while also filling Babydoll’s role.

Plausible scenario, but somebody's got to be the Jannetty sooner or later.

If it was anything like the NWA/WCW counterpart, it would have moving pieces, where members could be kicked out and new ones recruited. In 1993, for example, once DiBiase retires from injury, they could bring in Lex Luger under the Narcissist gimmick, and play up his past history with Flair.

I see it being Flair, DiBiase, Perfect and Sid, but Sid being too unpredictable and getting kicked out for Martel quickly.

Flair, Sid, Perfect and freshly turned Shawn Michaels. In 1992 that sounds the best option. Flair as Flair, Perfect as Anderson, Sid as the muscle, Shawn as the fresh up and comer and then you have Sherri On WCW side it rivals what they were doing with the Dangerous Alliance

It's hard to imagine it fully working since WWF was still such a babyface-driven promotion at that point, but given the enormous roster turnover that began during that time, the shift toward the New Generation aesthetics, the loss of Hogan, etc., it would've been a bold move to upend expectations that way, and might've helped to get the new crop of top faces over better before officially naming one of them the top dog. Like, Bret Hart was so great at selling the difficulty in overcoming the odds, having him go up against a whole crew like that might well have better cemented him as a main eventer.

I was thinking Shawn but I really don't see him being a 'team player' around that time. If he did, I feel it'd be a short-term thing and he'dbe bounced for someone more willing to work with others. That's why I like Mattel in that role. Flair, Power & Glory, Sid with Mr. Perfect in the JJ Dillon role. Always figured Heenan would be JJ, he was already Flair's advisor around that time.

Heenan would basically be like JJ while on commentary, but he was done with full time managing by '92, so Perfect would have to be there to do any of the necessary ringside work.

In the fall of 1991, the Undertaker he had these seperate alliances with Jake Robots and Ric Flair Jake Robots would have been an awesome gimmick.

Flair, Sid, Perfect and freshly turned Shawn Michaels. This sounds ideal to me.
