He was over. He was a steady hand earlier this decade. Anyone else miss "Too Many Limes" Sheamus? He will ride out his career as a tag specialist, but between 2010-2012 he could go and was a fresh main event face.

So when you flash the Bat Signal, Sheamus appears?

Guns don't kill people, because Sheamus eats them.

Didn’t too much care for anytime he was a world champion minus his feud with Big Show. But I am a fan of Sheamus!

I love Sheamus, I have since he turned heel and changed looks. I have never really understood why he's not more over.

I got tired of main event Sheamus and he's in the best spot for him now. 18 seconds ruined his main event run imo and his MITB win was the nail in the coffin. Nobody wanted to see him as Champ again.
That being said he could go in the ring especially in his 2012 face World Title run where he was having consistently good matches all year. Except against Del Rio of course.

If WWE is now "listening to the fans", hopefully they can have people in tag teams mix it up with singles wrestlers for more fresh matchups.
Why isn't Sheamus mixing it up in the Heavyweight Scene now? Why do I have to watch Sheamus vs Xavier Woods or Jay Uso for the 1000th time? Why isn't Big E feuding with Randy Orton or Daniel Bryan or AJ Styles?
This kind of segmentation are major channel turners.

I’d be down with Sheamus getting a quick main event run before he hangs it up. Has he wrestled Styles 1-1? I bet they’d tear the house down.

I like Fella. They didn't really do him any favors making him a jokey babyface, but he's always been damn good in the ring and he really turned himself into an excellent tag guy with Cesaro.
To be honest, I'd even be cool with them giving him another singles run even if it's brief. His matches with Bryan always ruled and it'd be interesting to see him against Samoa Joe, Rusev (been done before but it's been a while), AJ and Nakamura.

I think he'd be more highly regarded if he hadn't had every accolade possible forced onto him. He would be thought of more fondly as an upper mid-carder who should have been world champion, similar to the way Cesaro is.

He was never going to be “the guy” but dude should have consistently been a constant title threat and treated as dangerous on the roster. But you could say exactly the same of Cesaro, and their team has been magic. I’d still love to see them both get some main events before their careers wind up but they could both be very justly satisfied with their careers as is.

Ten years ago, I was hoping this guy would be used better than Mike Knox. I'd say he exceeded my expectations.
Seriously, I remember half-watching when they pulled him from ECW to debut on RAW with no buildup, in front of a dead crowd that didn't know or care who he is, against perennial jobber Jamie Noble, and just felt sorry for Sheamus that he was going to be dead in the water as another midcard monster who'd squash a few geeks and they drift around aimlessly.
Then he brutally beat the shit out Noble, and it was awesome. Then he beat up more people and got a PPV world title shot against Cena, and it felt like a nice change of pace to see a fresh face up the card but I don't think anyone doubted this was a short filler feud, and I really wasn't hoping for more than Sheamus getting to look good and remain semi-protected in defeat. Instead he f***ing beats Cena, without any interference or obvious cheating.
We've only gotten sporadic runs of Sheamus being booked like that much of a badass in the years since, but that quick ascent was enough to make him my favorite wrestler of the modern era. No one else in WWE has stepped up with the same presence since, IMO. There've been more big guys, but even somebody like Braun doesn't give off the same feeling of just being out there to ruthlessly annihilate people. I've mostly dropped watching WWE for Lucha Underground these days, and a big part of that is Mil Muertes, the closest I've seen in any current promotion to a wrestler who performs like Sheamus at his best, and unlike Big Red he gets booked to his strengths.

Never got into him. Below average talent that got a push way over his head way too early. Just dull all around.

I met him in Miami at Axxess the morning of WrestleMania 28. Really nice guy.
And his reaction to Arn Anderson’s warning about an empty butthole will never not be funny. You can tell he’s thinking, “wtf did Arn just say?!”

Sheamus is a hell of a brawler, probably the best in the company. Like, you know it's a work, but I've seen a lot of Sheamus matches where I think to myself "Shit, he's REALLY laying it in there", which is a style of wrestling I love.
Needless to say, I'm a fan of Fella.

I don't think it should be an "All the time" thing, just because of the injury rates that could happen, but I do wish every once in a while they'd get major feuds over with a snugger style. Anyway, yeah. The matches with Sheamus were the best ones Tensai ever had. I don't think Tensai just had the WWE style in him after those years in Japan. I'm sure they apologized to each other ahead of time, and went out there and beat the crap out of each other.

I’m not much of a fan, but my buddy absolutely worships him. I’ve mentioned him before. He has intellectual disabilities. When he got an interview for a job he was asked what inspires him he said “Sheamus”.

He had one of my all-time favorite badass moments where Mark Henry was in full Hall of Pain mode, wrecking everyone, and nobody wants to fight him. Then Sheamus, having just moved to Smackdown, comes out and says “I’ll fight ‘em” and effectively turned face.
