So far, Rey has been an attraction at the international events and faced off with miz and Orton, two that he faced regularly in his last run. I haven't seen much new from him since the surprise appearance at last year's rumble. Will he just be used for a nostalgia pop at this point or will he be allowed to evolve and contribute more? Will he ever win titles and feud with new opponents or is this just a victory lap before retirement?

I have seen a lot of people saying he is doing the same stuff he always did, but I don’t remember any Jeff Hardy program, and he worked with Orton in like 2006. But, I think the main reason he is there is to open doors for his son at the PC.

They’ve got so many guys they don’t have TV time for but they’re still bringing back these guys who peaked ten years ago. Go away, Mysterio.

Not sure if they've wrestled or not, but one would think a feud with Almas would write itself. Cocky heel proclaiming himself the greatest luchador ever and wanting to prove it at the expense of the legendary babyface. Sort of like the del Rio/Mysterio feud when ADR first arrived, except with more interesting/better antagonists in Almas and Zelina.

I'm not saying Rey should lose every feud but he should be here to get other people over. He should definitely lose a feud to Almas and have some great matches with fresh opponents like heel Bryan, AJ, Rusev.

Put people over. That’s exactly what he can do. Why him, Orton & Jeff Hardy have been wrestling each other is beyond me.

Yeah, I mean the Hell in a Cell match between Jeff and Orton was fantastic, but they should never face each other again after that. I'd rather see them against guys like Ali or Almas, it just feels like a waste putting them against guys they've already faced a million times before.

To me it makes sense to have him work with Almas and put him over. Gives Almas something and the match would be a banger for sure.

Maybe give 205 a shot in the arm.....or feud with Almas, Balor, Bryan, Kalisto, Zayn, Cesaro and AJ Styles

As many have said, a feud with Almas would be sweet. It boggles my mind WWE isn't doing jack shit with Andrade. Rey could elevate him big time

I could see him bringing his son in to tag with him. I wouldn’t be surprised if they win the tag titles at some point. Then his son could induct him into the hall of fame in a couple years. Rey can retire knowing his legacy lives on and he did what he could for his son.
