Why is there an appreciation thread for this? It was horrible, nobody looked good in the stable and it ended when the members of the stable stopped giving a flying f***.
I think the OP has reached the bottom of the barrel with this one.

It started off quite good, but then went downhill. I did like Gabrial and Slater refusing to hit each other with Kendo sticks and slinking off to join Barrett.

It sucked. The only good members of Nexus were Barrett, Slater, and Gabriel. Punk took over, those 3 left to form the way less cool Corre, and Punk continued to not matter until dropping the Nexus dead without so much as a mention of why.

No. It was terrrible. The Nexus underlings were made to look very weak just like the Straight Edge Society were. Orton just squashed them like bugs, and their careers never recovered, other than Husky who had to revamp his whole image.
They also did not feel like they were trying to hold the WWE hostage at any point. While Barrett had a pretty clear goal in mind with taking the company over like the nWo did, Punk seemed to only care about settling personal vendettas with Cena and Orton. Barrett actually felt like the top heel in the company even when Sheamus was WWE champion. Once Barrett was kicked out, Nexus quickly took a backseat to Miz on the roster.

Wasn't he just coming off his Straightedge society run where Big Show made him look utterly pathetic? I had trouble buying the New Nexus as any kind of threat because of that and the fact that the original one had ended up flopping so hard. Has any "new" version of something ever measured up to the old? New Nation with Rock as leader was 1000% better than the old one with Far as leader. Nah Faarooq WAS the Nation for me. When they kicked him out, it sucked ass cause it was obvious Rock wasn’t gonna keep hanging out with Henry, D-Lo and Godfather. APA was great though so it all worked out well.

I think the OP has reached the bottom of the barrel with this one. Why, you worried about the internet running out of space? Yeah, it sucked, but it beats talking about how Vince and Co are ruining the biggest talent pool in history by booking like they eat paste.

I will say instead of focusing on Punk here, we should instead look at this as another time they dropped the ball with Barrett.

It was a cool idea in theory, that was executed terribly. Much like the SES

I don't want to be "That Person", because everything I say is usually looked at through the lens of how much of a Punk Hater that I am, but we did get that great moment out of it of Rad Bromance (Heath/Justin) refusing to be part of the bullshit and staying loyal to Barrett.

I liked it. I bought the shirt and wore it regularly for like three years. They were better than the Corre.

I quite liked it. As mentioned, it was Punk and a bunch of goobers, but it worked in the same way that cartoon villains have their goons and are always outsmarted.
