As much shit as it gets, the Gargano saga in NXT. Always surprising, but always fitting into the characters and never coming out of nowhere.
(it's a bummer that Black has gotta be booked as better than everyone tho)

Besides Becky winning the title at HIAC or her rise in general, I'll say the men's Royal Rumble match even if Nak/AJ failed to live up to expectations.

WWE made me happy a bunch of times.
- Two great Rumbles in one night
- New, fresh winners of those Rumbles
- Evolution was magnificent
- The women have been stealing the show all year, even more so after Becky
- I love Ronda
- I know a lot of people hate her, but I think Nia is an idiot rather than actually unsafe, and I marked for a women of her weight getting pushed
- Mustafa Ali, an ex-cop, Pakistani, Muslim babyface getting pushed
- Many matches surprisingly good like Orton/Jeff in the Cell
- Buddy Murphy, hometown megaface
- MYC II
- Meiko
- Toni Storm
- Rhea and Tegan turning tragedy into entertaining worked-shoots
- NXT, generally
- Velveteen Dream specifically
- Undisputed Era
- Moustache Mountain
- Getting to experience the excitement of indie stars I knew getting on WWE TV (before they killed that with their contract changes)
- Heel Bryan
- Long title reigns (apart from Brock's)
- Braun, mostly
- Pete Summer
- Brock vs. Bryan
WWE got a lot of things right for me this year, even if some of them weren't right for business, and I have loved talking about it on here with you guys even when we have disagreed.
