Missing the bus is not as bad as running out of Sprite.
(I was surprised at how good of a rap they wrote for this, considering they had to make it about a soda).

What about Christopher Cross's Mountain Dew commercial? "Sailing takes me away to a world of extreme refreshment...".

To this day I still remember this song.
What's yo' name? The Daddy M-A-C And what you drink? The S-P-R-I-T-E
EDIT: eh, close enough

Reminds me how in my senior year of high school, there was one person who actually wore the backwards clothing like they did. And usually topped it with a hat like Debbie Gibson would wear. Odd combo for sure.

Odd combo for sure. One day in the third grade, I went for the Kris Kross look. It didn't quite work with my Highwaymen t-shirt and snug-fitting jeans.

Kriss Kross was huge with the kids in Germany and almost everyone single one of them wore their pants backwards too. I also remember seeing Kriss Kross as an opening act during Michael Jackson's World Dangerous Tour.

I also remember seeing Kriss Kross as an opening act during Michael Jackson's World Dangerous Tour. The show I attended was in Cologne, Germany. It was Kriss Kross, then some female singer whose name escapes me, and then of course Michael Jackson. I can still remember when Kriss Kriss performed "Jump, Jump" everyone in the arena jumped at the same time while singing along with them. I admit I didn't care about them during the show since I wanted to see MJ. It's interesting you posted that video because the show my dad and I attended MJ didn't perform Bad. He did do "Come Together" at the show which was a huge surprise to me!

One of the greatest concerts I had ever seen in my life. My dad and I were upset at first because there weren't any seats(obviously). We were all the way in the back so we could only see MJ on the two giant television screens on the stage. Even despite not being in the front row we still felt part of the show. My dad said when MJ came on he forgot about all about his feet hurting after standing for three hours.

Sprite has been the official, un-official drink of hip hop ever since Kurtis Blow was in one of their ads.

Sprite has been the official, un-official drink of hip hop ever since Kurtis Blow was in one of their ads. "Brought to you by Sprite. How did we become the black soda? We don't know." - Saturday Night Live with Chadwick Boseman (April 7, 2018), 'Black Jeopardy'
