Christian vs RVD in a ladder match for the IC title on a random Raw if I remember correctly.
Also, Dolph Ziggler's debut (as that character) against Batista. The perfect way to have someone gain credibility even by losing.

I really love Daniel Bryan vs. Randy Orton, in a Street Fight on Raw. One of the best Raw matches ever. It's no coincidence how many of Orton's best matches are street fights. It's easy to forget when it started training, it was at the height of the hardcore boom, so he was primarily a weapons-psychology wrestler. I also recommend his falls count anywhere match with Wade Barrett from Smackdown 2011.

With his current persona, it'd be really entertaining. Like Undertaker when he had it in 2001/2.

Kane vs Test at No Mercy 2001. Not great, but a real good and forgotten big man bout. Both guys throw each about with power moves at a good pace, Kane hits a legit nice dropkick and ref Nick Patrick takes a powerbomb that probably had Sting smiling. No Mercy 2001 is my vote for most underrated PPV ever.

I remember Batista and MVP having a series of matches on Smackdown in early 2008. Both of them were surprisingly good together.

Marty Jannetty versus Kurt Angle on RAW was amazingly good Got him rehired And promptly unhired because he was on probation and couldn't legally tour with WWE.
Still, as a Marty apologist I love to point to that match as an example of how Marty could've been so much more than he was if it hadn't been for personal demons and plain bad luck.

Sheamus vs Tensai - Raw 6/11/12 Sheamus played to his strengths perfectly. They had great chemistry, but I believe this is the one my fellow Tensai-sympathizers point to as what the character could have been. Just watched this. The pop at Tensaiβs near fall is impressive.

If you want a really short match that's also brutal, check out Tommy Dreamer vs. Stevie Richards in a Singapore Cane Match from the 7/15/02 Raw.
