They missed a golden opportunity to do HHH vs. HHH a few years ago. I'm sure HHH would've been happy to spray it in his face.

wasn't it going to be HBK until they made Jericho Doink?Which they never should've done, by the way. I think I read that HBK was supposed to be the ref for the Undertaker/HHH match at X7, but because he showed up f***ed up on pills or whatever on Raw they decided not to do it.

I think the story goes HBK's return match was supposed to be set up by his involvement in the Undertaker/HHH match, but you could be right.

Ray Lewis!? I had never heard that before. Ray definitely should have taken a stab at it. Instead he looked the other way.

Does anyone know how the Lewis storyline would've started? Like, what was the point? Has anyone ever talked about it? Besides Stephanie, who was on creative at that time?

I made the post and I thought Ray Lewis was a boxer. Google now tells me otherwise I think you're thinking of Lennox Lewis.

Why do you say this is a myth? It is well known Hogan’s contract was always on Turner’s books from day 1 in 94. This lines up with Bischoff's recent statement that Hogan was under contract to WCW and his salary came out of WCW's budget. Am I reading this contract right- he got 3 advance payments of 1.35m per year for PPV buys, AND a 2m bonus for all 6 PPVs, AND guaranteed main event? So he was guaranteed $10.5m per year? And this was his 1998 and onwards contract. Insane.

Ah yeah my bad, misread it. I was thinking that sounded crazy.

I'm sure HHH would've been happy to spray it in his face. Wait, what???!!! One of the more infamous misheard lyrics around these parts (up there with Sheamus' "too many limes") was Alex Riley's theme, where the actual lyrics were "say it to my face", but everyone else misheard as "spray it in my face".
