Take one of the sweetest, most wholesome women in the profession and turn her into a slutty, scumbag heel with over inflated breasts? Two words: Vince Russo One of my biggest gripes against Russo ever. By booking that it serve no purpose other than him living his teenage fantasy. The fans never wanted to see Elizabeth on that light, only him.

Two words: Vince Russo I get your point but all that happened before Russo got to wcw and the implants I always heard was in late 98 Liz wasn’t being used on tv and Savage makes a one off return while injuried and he brought his new 20 year old stripper girlfriend seeing this it affected Liz who was pushing 40 and competing with women half her age in a T&A era so the next time we see her she got super sized gazongas. Yeah... i realize most of the IWC loves to blame everything bad on Russo (and some of it, rightfully so), but this wasn't Russo.

Yeah... i realize most of the IWC loves to blame everything bad on Russo (and some of it, rightfully so), but this wasn't Russo. Here’s just some of the stuff the wcw bookers did with Elizabeth in the 4 years before Russo got there: Debuted her in early 96 and 2 weeks later have her turn heel and fool around with Flair. Hogan tricks her to join the nwo and then makes her his slave. Savage joins the nwo and they give him Liz as a present. Randomly joins the nwo then Hogan gives her to Bischoff so he can makeout with her. When they put her with Luger she got in great shape and Luger immediately got injured and he wanted her to stay off the road with him while he recovered but the bookers at the time wanted her on tv and even pitched a storyline where she would seduce Billy Kidman but she refused because it would make her seem old.Kidman has even said in interviews that the bookers told him that once Luger could comeback from injury she would turn on Kidman and go back with Luger and they they just wanted to do the older woman seduces a younger man storyline. Once Russo comes in he wants her to strip,do even more sexual angles and wrestle but she constantly refused and she ended up getting fired because of it.

Everything I have read/heard about Liz is she was a wonderful person that just got caught up in some bad things. It's sad.

Everything I have read/heard about Liz is she was a wonderful person that just got caught up in some bad things. It's sad. The only negative I ever heard about Liz was reported in the torch during her final days in wcw it claimed she just wanted to collect a pay check and do as little as possible and she was very good at manipulating Luger he’d fly off the handle and Russo claims that he liked Luger but Liz caused the issues between them at the time. There was the weird stuff like during the 1st half of 2000 them showing up late to a bunch of wcw show claiming they were in a car accident yet neither had a scratch on them and they even claimed that they had a head on collision with a bus before a show and they worked that night. Before one nitro Buff beatup an arena employee while Luger & Liz watched and when police questioned them they claimed they saw nothing.

Getting addicted to drugs doesn't mean she was any less of a wonderful person.
Dressing in more revealing clothing doesn't mean she was any less of a wonderful person.
Having implants doesn't mean she was any less of a wonderful person.
Having implants doesn't mean she was responsible for the crappy, controlling men in her life.
She certainly made bad choices and only she could be responsible for those, but let's not imply that she was trash for any of the reasons above.

What is keeping her out of the wwe hof? They don't like having too many people who died young in any year, so a lot of people are going to have to wait a bit longer.

By all accounts Elizabeth was as nice a person in real life as her character, I’ve never heard a bad word said about her. I don’t think her personal choices with men, drugs or alcohol would change that. Even the nicest of people make stupid mistakes. Sadly she paid the price.
Extremely sad story indeed. HOF worthy without any doubt about it.
As a babyface I think she put The nervousness on as it was part of the charm of the character, if you watch some of her heel stuff she comes across much more comfortable, especially in interviews. She wasn’t the greatest on the mic at all but as a heel she didn’t come across as anxious. There is a particular interview from 1998 where she is interviewed by Eric on Thunder and she lays into Randy Savage, it’s actually really good and she looks super comfortable

I think the hard truth with Elizabeth was that she didn't really have much to offer aside from being Macho Man's damsel in distress. She didn't really talk, didn't get too physical. There wasn't much to do with her outside of that.
Still it was pretty sad seeing her in WCW where she was dressed in tight leather dresses and it would be implied that she was being passed around in the nWo and stuff. She didn't look like she was into it at all.

For what it’s worth, Debra McMichaels mentioned in a shoot that Elizabeth’s demons were already there in the mid nineties so it was before Luger.

One of the things I always noticed about Liz was how painfully nervous she always looked on camera. I didn’t know if it was from stage-fright or anxiety or if she was like that even when she wasn’t on camera in front of millions of people, but it always made me kind of uncomfortable watching her when she looked like she was about to start crying or have a panic attack or something. Did anyone else get that vibe from her? No, I'm right there with you. She always looked like she didn't really want to be there when she was on camera. Wasn't she a would-be news/sports TV reporter that began working as an interviewer for Poffo's ICW in Tennessee? She then met Savage and the rest is history. But wanting to be a journalist, you think she'd be more comfortable in front of the camera. That said, I credit her as a wonderful actress constantly portraying the distressed damsel. All in all, Elizabeth was Princess Peach.

The late 90s wrestling companies were no place for a woman whose character was all about having grace, class and vulnerability.
I think people heap too much blame for how things played out on Lex Luger, did he help? No, but he didn't start her issues either, and was just as much of an addict as she was.

Damn...okay, I’m in my mid 40s now, maybe closer to the age Liz was here, but I think she looks better here than she did in 1988!

She would have been 38 in that interview. At a time when Sable was the biggest woman in wrestling, Elizabeth could easily match her in hotness, she was just more understated and not parading around with hand prints on her boobs (which took place a month after this)
She looked gorgeous with the blonde hair.

What is keeping her out of the wwe hof? I've heard her family wants no part of the wrestling business.
