State your claim here.
I'm rolling with Smackdown, early 2002, "Beautiful People." Hands down.
Great look with the intense close-ups, fast action, great syncing, and starts and ends with glass breaking: Shane through the KOTR panel (start) and the transition to the arena (end). Awesome concept, tightly produced, #1.
What you got?

Attitude Era "Raw Is War." Just a ton of energy between the song, video clips, and the opening pyro and ballyhoo. Even if I still can't make sense of the song's lyrics to this day.
I also really liked the Drowning Pool "Rise Up" Smackdown intro in the mid-00's. Beautiful People in the early 00's was really good, too.

I don't think anything will ever be as hype as the 98-99 Thorn In My Eye opening video. You knew shit was about to go down as soon as you saw Ken Shamrock's angry ass face looking up at nothing in particular.

The InVasion PPV. When you swap out the usual hard rawk song for an FDR speech about the horrors of war, you done good.

www.youtube.com/watch?v=MTZsL5fTtRwThe intro to Wrestlemania 14, it felt like a true change and the transition from the new generation to the attitude era was complete. Going down the hall of pictures from the previous wrestlemania's to end at the WWF scratch logo was cool, like here is the new era and enjoy! And whoever was in charge of choosing the music from production music libraries for their intro's and promos in the mid to late 90s did amazing at it.

Really, nothing comes close to the Raw is War intro.

For TV I do not see it ever not being Thorn in your eye , it does what an intro is suppose to do which is get you f***in hype for an insane bit of TV.
As for ppv intro I have to go with the 1998 royal rumble
They made this rumble feel like it was all of nothing with this intro and the music no lyrics just a really awesome little diddy that emphasised what was being narrated.
"from a renagade with a cold blooded identity to a man that would willingly exchange 3 personas for 1 with a champions label"

This will always be my favourite intro to a show. All the promo videos from this show were on point though, particularly the one for Kane vs Undertaker and Austin vs Shawn.

Across the Nation. Hands down.
Beautiful People, I Want It All, Rise Up and Bodies would be next.
“This is the New Shit” is an underrated one aswell. Wish that lasted longer. “Don’t question my heart” was such a pussy song for ECW...
In terms of recent years, I liked “Tonight is the Night” for the Raw theme.

Entirely nostalgia based but starting watching in 03 I always got hyped for I Want it All and Across the Nation.

Love that intro, it gives me chills.

For RAW and Smackdown it has to be Thorn in my Eye, Across the Nation and Beautiful People.
PPVs I loved Saliva - Always at Survivor Series 2002, Highway to Hell at SS 98. My Way WM 17, Deadly Game
Both Classic Wrestlemania themes
